  1. Watching other fans celebrate is worse than watching your team lose. I know. I lived in Indianapolis when they won.
  2. Lots of respect to Mahomes for playing through this. He’s in obvious pain.
  3. That’s all she wrote. Bengals have figured out the Chiefs D. The Bengals in two off seasons with no scouts built the best team in the NFL. We really do live in the worst possible timeline.
  4. All of a sudden that passrush is not getting home and they can’t stop them. This game will be tied son a few minutes.
  5. That’s true, but local news sports talk guy was trying to say that the Bengals are the new “America’s Team.” I guess all fans think their team is the “good guys.”
  6. I agree, but this year’s WR FA class is really not good at all. The draft is not particularly strong at WR either. It’s a really bad to be needing one and Beane will have to overpay or overdraft.
  7. Movie has little to nothing to do with Tom Brady. It’s a road movie for aging boomer women. In other words, you all are not the target audience.
  8. On the first drive (3 and out), the Bills tried to run the ball. By the time they got the ball again, they were down 14-0.
  9. I don’t know about that. Josh willing the team to a TD was something to cheer about.
  10. They started an omnibus thread for all the coaching changes. It was started when this news broke this afternoon.
  11. You can tell people who didn't spend all day on this board...
  12. Yeah, this was a garden variety NFL loss where one team jumps out to a lead and the other can't pick themselves off the mat. Kind of like the Colts game last year. If you want to name a game from this year, it should be the loss to the Vikings. That was a crazy game.
  13. Mayfield is a FA who finished the season on the Rams.
  14. Old QB stats are interesting. You don't even have to go back to the 60's. Roger Staubach only had an over 60% completion percentage one time in 10 years. That year, he only had 286 attempts for 2,428 yards. Terry Bradshaw never cleared 60% completions. These guys were the two best QBs of the 70's. Dan Fouts is the only guy from the 70's whose numbers look remotely modern, but Derek Carr has better numbers than he did. Joe Montana was the first guy to have modern QB stats and he never threw for more than 4,000 yards. Mahomes has never had fewer than 4,000 in a season that he started and has thrown for more than 5,000 twice in his career. Different game, indeed.
