  1. In all seriousness, the Bucs have now lost 3 in a row. and now stand 1.5 games back in the NFC South. If the Falcons beat the Titans on Sunday, they’ll be effectively three games back because the Falcons hold the tie break. I don’t think that they are taking any positives from the close loss.
  2. They don’t usually call PI on hail Mary passes because it is usually happening both ways. That is, of course, unless Tom Brady is the QB throwing the ball.
  3. You think Bengals fans were rooting for the Bills to win?
  4. Mine does too. That was my first game in Buffalo since 1989 and there used to be nothing like that. It was wild.
  5. The drunk Bucs fan in a crazy pimp outfit sitting next to me in Section 108 row 1 agrees with you. He started screaming “I hate you Todd Boles” right up until the moment that it worked. BTW, just how many times are the Bills going to tip a pass just to have it fall into a receiver’s hand?
  6. How sweet is it going to be to watch the games on Sunday with a Bills win already in the bank?
  7. Bucs fan that was standing next to me thought he was Offside Being at the game (my first Bills home game since 1989), the most surprising thing was the amount of mixed Bills/Bucs marriages and relationships that there are. Remember when Josh got that Jets player to dive over the line?
  8. The kid next to me started crying because Mike Evans wouldn’t acknowledge him.
  9. This place is teeming with Bucs fans of all people. Former Pats fans?
  10. Bout ready to get in the car to start the drive to Buffalo. GO BILLS!!!
  11. If this meeting happened, it wasn’t a usual players-only meeting. They usually are b-word sessions to clear the air on teams with interpersonal conflicts. This was a pep-talk by the captains to get everyone focused on the upcoming games and not the injuries. It’s what captains are supposed to do.
  12. Or the D-Backs and the Rangers in the WS. Sometimes the unexpected is worse than the expected.
  13. I agree with you, and he’s probably right here. I listen to him too because he’s not a dumbass like Skip. But he, like all sports talkers, is loathe to come off his takes. It’s just the nature of the business. I mean Skip Baylee’s has Tebow in the HoF and LeBron as the worst player in NBA history and no amount of evidence can persuade him. Also, I love that Francis Bacon identified this in the 17th century. Finally, I managed to raise two Bills fans in Finneytown and I’m taking my 20 year old son up to Highmark tomorrow night to get him baptized into the Bills Mafia. Hammers Lot here we come! My 18 year old daughter cried when we lost to the Pats on Sunday That’s when I knew that she was all in too.
  14. Hurts is a workout warrior and squats as much as a bodybuilder.
  15. It’s that third one that gets me. You have to be able to scheme around defensive injuries. The Pats and Giants defenses are also MASH units and they played us just fine. Figure it out McD!
  16. This was actually illegal in the good ole days when men were men. https://www.latimes.com/sports/story/2022-12-30/pushing-the-pile-nfl-rule-officiating
  17. And the QB is by definition leading with his head.
  18. Yeah he is. But the Bengals offense goes dormant for entire halves, which is surprising for a unit with that much talent. For example, they scored 14 on their first two drives against the Seahawks at home and then scored 3 the rest of the way. They do this a lot. And their D is not quite as good this year due to losses in the secondary in FA. One strength was their Safeties and they lost both. I’m not saying that the Bills beat them, but they are a weaker team this year and barring a Lamar injury they won’t win their division. And this is the last year of the party because one of Higgins and Chase will have to go (Higgins). I know what we saw in January. But living here I watch them every week. Baltimore is better this year. Thankfully we don’t have to play them.
  19. After how Purdy looked for the past two games, I’m not sure that this mattersZ CMC being out would be a much bigger deal.
  20. I just want Darnold to light it up. I love a good QB controversy.
  21. People here in Cincinnati hate Zac Taylor like we hate Dorsey and McDermott. Combined. No creativity in the offense. He relies too much on Burrow and Chase and his scheme is too vanilla.
  22. he may be correct here, but Cowherd sets narratives and seeks all else to confirm his narratives. Here is my favorite quote that explains so much. “The human understanding, when it has once adopted an opinion draws all things … to support and agree with it. And though there be a greater number and weight of instances to be found on the other side, yet these it either neglects and despises or … sets aside and rejects in order that by this great and pernicious predetermination, the authority of its former conclusions may remain inviolate”. (Francis Bacon 1602).
