  1. Because they don’t play any starters in preseason.
  2. Im going to watch the Bengals - Browns because I’m curious to see Deshawn Watson with a full camp and Joe Burrow without one. Then probably Dolphins-Chargers.
  3. It’s NIL coupled with the transfer portal. You can’t stash talent on the bench for two years. Kids will transfer for a chance to shine and therefore a chance to get paid both in the NFL and immediately.
  4. Am I the only one who reads “Tua” like Pacino in Scent of a Woman?
  5. Your point is good, but the Bengals lost to the Steelers week 1 in the craziest game and then to the Cooper Rush Cowboys in week 2. The games you cite are preseason games. They also lost to the Ravens 19-17 in week 5 where Burrow looked lost and to the Browns 32-13 in week 8. But then they went into the bye week, everyone stayed in Cincinnati, and they installed a quicker offense to account for the poor OL play. They didn't lose again until the AFC CG. FWIW, everyone here likes to talk about Zach Taylor outcoaching McDermott, but the entire city of Cincinnati wanted him fired after the week 5 loss to Baltimore.
  6. He did the same thing in Jacksonville last year in the playoffs I see that now.
  7. Before about week 3 in the 2020 season, I had zero gameday anxiety. I had no expectations. Now, I'm a nervous wreck. It's worse before week one because I have no idea what to expect.
  8. You're right. He spends an entire 2 seconds rocking and forth. He never really sets.
  9. You know, scrubbing that video above kind of changes my mind on this. Pause it at 4 seconds and then scrub watching the RT and the ball. He moves as soon as the center moves the ball, but the rest of the line doesn't move until the ball is halfway to Mahomes. The top of his helmet is also right at the waistline of the center. If you look at the OL, Taylor is the only one who's looking at the ball in the center's hand. He can do that because he's lined up so far back. The rest of them are going by sound. Light travels much faster than sound. I've been screaming about this all day, but Taylor may actually be in the right here.
  10. AFAIK, EB didn't have any role in calling plays in KC. There is a rather long list of HCs who call the offensive plays Chargers Rams Packers Chiefs Dolphins Bengals Panthers Eagles Vikings There are probably more.
  11. FTFY. This guy gets veteran treatment from the league because he became famous before playing a single NFL down because he has a cool nickname. Remember Snacks Harrison? And you think this is bad? Next year we're getting Kool-Aid Mckinstry. They're just gonna let him straight tackle receivers.
  12. Everybody here rants about Gabe Davis, but he never had a game as bad as Toney played tonight.
  13. Colts and Titans fans were all over social media pointing that he’s been doing that for years. It’s like he’s found a loop hole in the rules.
  14. Replacing Juju with Toney maybe wasn’t the best move. But it is just week 1. I’m sure that KC will be rolling by Thanksgiving. But they might have to make a trade for a WR at the deadline.
  15. Looking online a bit, Taylor did this in Jacksonville too.
  16. He did it again. Every pass play, he moves early.
  17. I never complain about refs, but this is really blatant.
  18. According to TBD, the Chiefs have the best OL in the NFL.
