  1. BTW, that's why it seems like PHI and SF are playing in an uncapped league.
  2. Somehow, the Eagles played their best game of the year in the Super Bowl. They won a lot of close games against some bad teams. The Panthers had a 4th quarter lead on the Eagles in Philly by holding Hurts to 108 yards passing. The Rams almost beat them in the divisional round. They also lost to the Falcons in week 2 and got destroyed by the Bucs in week 4. I know they made some adjustment in how the secondary plays during the bye week, but they looked beatable all year until the 4th quarter of the NFC Championship Game. We all want their success to be something quantifiable so the Bills could copy the formula, but more than anything they seemed to find another gear in scoring 21 garbage-time points in the 4th quarter of the NFC Championship Game and rode that momentum into the SB.
  3. But the video that is the subject of this thread is not about that. It is about the fact that the Chiefs had a lot of 💩 play calls against the cover 4 zone defense that the Eagles were running. Yes, the Eagles D played very well. But the great Andy Reid also lost the chess match badly.
  4. I know you are trying to make a point here, but Andy Reid rotated RBs between Hunt, Pacheco, and Perine all season including in key moments in the AFC CG.
  5. Here in Cincinnati, Mike Brown would keep him just out of spite. He'd tell him "young man, you can't tell me how to run my franchise." And then admonish him for having a weak handshake and not looking him in the eyes. And then he'd tell him "pull your pants up, nobody wants to see your underwear son!" as he walked away.
  6. The Rams used to have a coach whose only job was to keep McVey from running onto the field. Remember, there is no salary caps for coaches.
  7. There is almost no way that players will go back in that trade. Players almost never go in both direction in NFL trades. Here is every trade from the past calendar year. It only happened 4 times, and those were all pretty minor trades. If Cleveland trades Garrett (which I think they won't), it will be for picks to do a cap and roster reset. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/transactions/trade/_/start/2024-02-11/end/2025-02-11
  8. This entire board is engaging in a futile exercise where they try to copycat the Eagles because they just watched them win. The assumption is that if the Eagles and Chiefs played 10 times, the Eagles would win all 10 because they just won. That is never the case. Do the Bills need better pass rushers? Yes they do. But I didn't need to watch the Eagles win a game to tell you that.
  9. It was an absolute replay of that game except the Eagles let the Chiefs get some garbage time points.
  10. Chiefs Planet is what bad or nonexistent moderation on a message board looks like.
  11. He was pretty bad in his last year in GB too. He seems disinterested in football.
  12. I can tell the people on here who live in WNY and follow the NHL closely. The fact is that player for player trades are pretty rare in the NFL. It is almost player for picks trades due to how the salary cap works. We can all name a few trades that involved players going in both directions (Jay Cutler for Kyle Orton comes to mind), but they are the exception not the rule. For example, if the Bills trade for Myles Garrett it will be all picks going in the other direction.
  13. You joke, but there are at least 5 posters on this board who want the Bills to trade Josh Allen.
  14. I was happy that the Chiefs lost. Reading TBD tonight, I now realize that the Bills lost. Now I’m depressed.
  15. Last year, Eagles fans wanted Siriani fired.
  16. This is pretty much a repeat of the Bucs-Chiefs SB. Hurts will get MVP, but their DL won the game.
  17. But it only works if the back end holds up too.
  18. He does need to get better at that, but he'll never be as good at it as Joe Burrow or Tom Brady. I don't know where Brady go that, but Joe Burrow's dad was the DC for Ohio University. He was reading coverages and diagnosing blitzes from his high chair whilst throwing cheerios.
  19. 49ers. If they could stomach the BS, he would run that system better than Purdy.
  20. They were always behind because the defense quit when they fired Salah.
  21. He has to go to the Viking to complete the circle, doesn't he?
  22. Am I the only one watching the game tonight? It's the last football game of the year. I'm making wings and drinking beer. BTW, people complicate wings. They are really easy if you have an air fryer. Pre-heat the air fryer at 400F for 10 minutes Put wings in basket. They all have to touch bottom in a single layer with some space around them. You'll have to work in batches. Fry wings for 12 minutes at 400 Take out and toss lightly in sauce (2 parts Franks, 1 part unsalted butter) Fry for another 10 minutes at 400. Toss in sauce and eat That's it. If you want them hotter, add cayenne pepper to the sauce. Also, they are even better if you put them in the oven on the "keep warm" setting for a bit while you fry the rest.
  23. In another thread right now, Bills fans are arguing that being elite at pre-snap reads is more important than physical talent. If this is true, you would replace Josh Allen with Aaron Rodgers in a heartbeat.
  24. What!!!??? Talent is a thing. For example, some people are fast. There is no amount of work that other people can do to get as fast as them. That's like saying that "you're not born tall." Hard work matters, but without talent the ceiling is pretty low. It's harder to see with intelligence, but anybody who has worked in education knows that, while there is a floor that anyone can get to (unless they have developmental disabilities), some kids have much higher ceilings than others.
  25. Funny how Tom Brady gives himself all the credit for that SB when the Bucs defense held Mahomes to 9 points.
