  1. Adams is going wherever Rodgers goes. I think back to the Raiders.
  2. Next thing you're going to tell me is that rubbing crystals on my nuts and tripping on Ayahuasca won't make me an NFL QB!
  3. Nobody is denying his talent at QB in his prime. He's a first-ballot HoFer. He is just really prickly from a personality standpoint and is no longer worth the headache. He's also not "all-in" on football any longer. Last year, he skipped mandatory minicamp to go on a trip to Egypt with friends. He then got Salah fired, dividing the locker room on a team that was still in the playoff mix. He also forced the Jets to bring in his Packers buddies, creating a rift between Aaron's guys (Nate Hackett, Lazard, Cobb, and then Adams) and the rest of the Jets offense, including young stars like Breece Hall and Garret Wilson. He did all this stuff in GB, but he was worth the trouble then. Now he's not.
  4. It probably happened because the Jags don't have a GM.
  5. I was in the process of typing out a long version of this when you posted. Cincinnati can't complete in MLB due to market size, and our Metro area + Dayton's metro has over 3 million people. Being a fan of a small-market baseball team sucks. You're essentially a developmental team for the big market clubs. In Cincinnati, we're all just enjoying Elly De La Cruz and anticipating his eventual trade to the Dodgers. NBA players won't play in cold-weather small markets.
  6. I don't think that the Bills should consider acquiring him. But the Bengals bleed talent on D every offseason. It hit a critical mass this year and is the reason they didn't make the playoffs despite record offensive performance. This would be another hit, and it happening at a time when their franchise QB is demanding more and more investment in keeping his offensive weapons together because he's afraid of playing without an all-pro team around him.
  7. But Pratt is still under contract for 2025 for a reasonable amount. He doesn't have to pay him. He just doesn't have to trade him.
  8. And that's why he won't be traded. Mike Brown doesn't honor trade demands. Last season, Tee Higgins and Trey Hendrickson demanded trades. Care to guess when they played last season?
  9. Joe Burrow is so cute, pretending that Mike Brown has the cash to convert salary to signing bonuses. But really, it takes upfront cash and there is a price to pay cap-wise down the line when the run is over.
  10. BTW, that's why it seems like PHI and SF are playing in an uncapped league.
  11. Somehow, the Eagles played their best game of the year in the Super Bowl. They won a lot of close games against some bad teams. The Panthers had a 4th quarter lead on the Eagles in Philly by holding Hurts to 108 yards passing. The Rams almost beat them in the divisional round. They also lost to the Falcons in week 2 and got destroyed by the Bucs in week 4. I know they made some adjustment in how the secondary plays during the bye week, but they looked beatable all year until the 4th quarter of the NFC Championship Game. We all want their success to be something quantifiable so the Bills could copy the formula, but more than anything they seemed to find another gear in scoring 21 garbage-time points in the 4th quarter of the NFC Championship Game and rode that momentum into the SB.
  12. But the video that is the subject of this thread is not about that. It is about the fact that the Chiefs had a lot of 💩 play calls against the cover 4 zone defense that the Eagles were running. Yes, the Eagles D played very well. But the great Andy Reid also lost the chess match badly.
  13. I know you are trying to make a point here, but Andy Reid rotated RBs between Hunt, Pacheco, and Perine all season including in key moments in the AFC CG.
  14. Here in Cincinnati, Mike Brown would keep him just out of spite. He'd tell him "young man, you can't tell me how to run my franchise." And then admonish him for having a weak handshake and not looking him in the eyes. And then he'd tell him "pull your pants up, nobody wants to see your underwear son!" as he walked away.
  15. The Rams used to have a coach whose only job was to keep McVey from running onto the field. Remember, there is no salary caps for coaches.
  16. There is almost no way that players will go back in that trade. Players almost never go in both direction in NFL trades. Here is every trade from the past calendar year. It only happened 4 times, and those were all pretty minor trades. If Cleveland trades Garrett (which I think they won't), it will be for picks to do a cap and roster reset. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/transactions/trade/_/start/2024-02-11/end/2025-02-11
  17. This entire board is engaging in a futile exercise where they try to copycat the Eagles because they just watched them win. The assumption is that if the Eagles and Chiefs played 10 times, the Eagles would win all 10 because they just won. That is never the case. Do the Bills need better pass rushers? Yes they do. But I didn't need to watch the Eagles win a game to tell you that.
  18. It was an absolute replay of that game except the Eagles let the Chiefs get some garbage time points.
  19. Chiefs Planet is what bad or nonexistent moderation on a message board looks like.
  20. He was pretty bad in his last year in GB too. He seems disinterested in football.
  21. I can tell the people on here who live in WNY and follow the NHL closely. The fact is that player for player trades are pretty rare in the NFL. It is almost player for picks trades due to how the salary cap works. We can all name a few trades that involved players going in both directions (Jay Cutler for Kyle Orton comes to mind), but they are the exception not the rule. For example, if the Bills trade for Myles Garrett it will be all picks going in the other direction.
  22. You joke, but there are at least 5 posters on this board who want the Bills to trade Josh Allen.
  23. I was happy that the Chiefs lost. Reading TBD tonight, I now realize that the Bills lost. Now I’m depressed.
