  1. A coaching search every two years did make for exciting Januarys.
  2. They talk about this stuff all the time. Turn in NFL network in the summer and you’ll likely see old Jim Brown footage, the Ice Bowl and Frank Gifford in the Greatest Game Ever Played. In another thread today, I wondered how badly the 1964 Bills would have been beaten by the NFL champion Browns in a hypothetical Superbowl -3.
  3. All coaches want a pocket passer. They want the plays run as they were designed and called. It's a control thing.
  4. I looked it up. Tyreek has had taunting called on him three times in his 7.5-year career. Twice in 2018 and once this year. That's not never, but it is close to never.
  5. I wonder how the 1964 AFL champion Bills would have fared against the 1964 Browns in a hypothetical Superbowl -3.
  6. That would be 2029, and that’s excluding the very real possibility that Josh signs an extension this off-season to match the Burrow contract.
  7. Those that are saying that Pegula is “too conservative” to fire McDermott have very short memories. He fired Rex with a game left in the season. He fired hockey coaches and GMs left and right. In fact, both franchises spun their wheels for years due to a lack of continuity. The stability has been good, but it may be time for a change with the Bills.
  8. If Josh goes to Pegula and says that he's unhappy with coaching, the coaching would be changed.
  9. every coach wants Tom Brady/Joe Burrow. They always make the safe throw. Josh Allen is built different. If these coaches won't use his strengths, it's time to find new coaches.
  10. The Kelce brothers are just good dudes. It's annoying how good Travis is when he's playing your team, but that doesn't make him a bad guy. Big pot just won an election here in Ohio, and I'm all for it.
  11. For every spectacular play that Josh has made in his career, there was a safer throw that he "should" have made.
  12. I don't want to see Josh take check-downs or play "efficient." Unleash the beast!
  13. Well, that and have a whole offseason with it.
  14. Hasn't he always played like this?
  15. It might be time for Josh to learn a new playbook. Lamar is playing really well and he has a new OC with a new offense.
  16. Oh Oh! Now do Vrabel!
  17. The "Patriot Way" = Joyless football. Guys are only willing to play joyless football if they are competing for a Lombardi.
  18. Sammy Watkins is only 30 and sitting on his couch. Just sayin...
  19. Actually, judging from this place right now, we don't require a 17-year drought to be miserable. All it takes is a single 6-point loss to a really good team in their stadium.
  20. Harbaugh is a retread. Hire some hot offensive coach's OC or QB coach who has never called an NFL play and give them the HC job. That's how it's done in 2023.
  21. I would want the context. How does this compare with other QBs? I do see that the completed air yards are the lowest in his career by a bunch. That's part of his attempts to be more "efficient."
  22. Exactly. Injury luck is just as important as talent and coaching in winning a Superbowl.
