  1. It's a flawed stat, but PFF grades pass rushers on their "win" on the initial rush at the snap. It's like an extension of training camp discussions where we talk about DL X "winning their rep" against OL Y or vice versa. All those sacks against Washington would not count as pass rush wins because they were due to Sam Howell holding the ball too long. Why did he do that? Because the BIlls DBs took away his first read. In the end, it doesn't really matter. All that matters is that the defense made a play. But just like with PFF OL ratings, they are trying to quantify something that is not really quantifiable but because as humans we love numbers and rankings we eat it up.
  2. Everytime I think about that play, I get to remember this:
  3. People get frustrated (not me, but others on here) because the Fins are always taking swings. The trade for Hill worked out. The trade for Chubb last year at the deadline has not. But they are in a win-now mode and a lot of people would like to trade draft capital to take a swing for this year.
  4. I was just trying to think of good WRs on losing teams in response to people wanting to trade for a player who won't be traded. Broncos might part ways with someone like Jerry Jeudy, but I'm not sure that he's any better than Gabe at this point and he's always hurt.
  5. The Bucs have a real shot of winning that division. They're not trading anyone. If the Bengals keep losing, the Bills might be able to get Tee Higgins but that would be a rental as he'll get WR1 money from someone this offseason.
  6. I put DJ Moore in my fantasy lineup at 7:55 tonight. Seems that I made a good call.
  7. Of course he wouldn't. You can't trust the blue checks. Always look at the actual account name. In this case, it is @mikmcdaniels. Notice the lack of the "e."
  8. Lil Mike McDaniel just wants to be friends with the refs
  9. No matter how the Bills won, it only counts as one win. American football is a game of matchups. The Bills match up well with the Dolphins and not so well with the Jets. I have no idea how we match up with the Jags, as we haven't played this version of the team yet. I have no idea how it will play out.
  10. Just went and checked in Boogie. He only had 7 of 55 snaps on defense for the Giants on Monday night. He only has two tackles on the season.
  11. That's probably the case. You can see those teams here: https://www.ftnfantasy.com/articles/FTN/105892/week-4-dvoa-buffalo-bills-greatest-3-1-team-ever
  12. I would rather that he checked that one down and punt. The Bills have a really good punter. Let him do his job.
  13. It was a gotcha question meant to bait him into blaming Joe Burrow. And Chase took the bait.
  14. The Houston Fighting C.J. Strouds hung 37 points on the Jags in Jacksonville.
  15. Bills are currently 5th in RAC in the NFL. For reference, the Bills were 27th in RAC in 2022. Really seems like something that they are working on.
  16. I don’t know. He still threw one of those “arm punt” INTs against Washington.
  17. There was a play on that drive when Thomas had 5 yards of green in front of him and ran out of bounds. If Norwood had been 5 yards closer, the Bills win.
  18. I was surprised too. Here is the game thread. Not as active as here, but more active than other teams. https://www.duvalpride.com/showthread.php?tid=38774
  19. Looking at the snap counts, it was Dion Dawkins and Williams at the OTs and Cody Ford and Ike at the OGs and Morse at C for 100% of the snaps. Spencer Brown didn't see the field that game.
  20. Looks like good weather in London on Sunday afternoon. Mid 70s with no rain or wind.
  21. This feels like in men's tennis when a player gets a break they have to hold on their next service game to consolidate the break. Just popped over to the Jags board, and all they are talking about is the 9-6 game in 2021.
