    I think that everyone’s perceptions get skewed because of how much the media pays attention to the draft. The only way that the Jags have better weapons than the Bills is if you base your assessment on college performance and draft position.

    It’s a weird thing, being a fan of a MAC football team. You want your team to do well, but so well that you lose the coach. The optimal outcome is backing into bowl eligibility. After Miami beat Cincinnati this year I think Chuck Martin will finally be snatched up by a lower level BIG-18 team like Indiana. And then the cycle begins anew.

    They weren’t playing him anyway after he went full-out attacking the coaching and the entire organisation. He was also a net negative for the Bears offender. He was lazy in not running routes but he was still openly demanding touches. He may work out in some way in Miami, but for Chicago it was addition by subtraction.

    The Fins just put their LT on IR with a knee injury. I think that will have a bigger impact on them than Chase Claypool.
