  1. Steelers are tied for first place in their division and Levi is their starting CB. I doubt they are selling at this point. Beane's job is made much tougher by the fact that there are 3 terrible divisions in which all teams are still in the race.
  2. I hear you. VW turbocharged engines are known for having faulty piston rings. You probably have the 3.0L in that, but I have a Passat with the 2.0T that consumes oil. I'm just waiting for the time bomb to go off.
  3. If I'm the Broncos, I wouldn't trade him at any cost. That's the guy you keep and build around.
  4. The issue is that because this is a Buffalo Bills forum, there are a lot of NHL hockey fans here. Player for player trades to balance lineups happen all the time in the NHL (and NBA), so fans start proposing these types of deals. In the NFL, the standard is draft pick(s) for a player. People also keep bringing up hockey trade things like "retaining salary."
  5. Of course, there is no cause and effect and I don't blame the "media" for doing their job. It's just funny how all these things happened after losses while after wins the team has had stress-free weeks. When it rains it pours, I guess.
  6. Why would the Panthers trade Jaycee Horn, who is still only 23 and on his rookie deal? That is the type of player that bad teams hold on to and build around. All you can get is older guys who are overpaid.
  7. Buy a manual transmission. Best anti-theft device in the US.
  8. Remember how after the Jets loss we had the Maddy Glabb incident and the "Pegula's a racist" story in one week? Then the team started winning and it's all sunshine and roses. Now that we lost again, it's back to scandal.
  9. There are some good players with something left in the tank sitting at home right now, but unfortunately, they are not CBs. Former Packers and Charger Casey Hayword is out there surfing the couch too, but at this point, he's as washed up as Norman. Josh at least knows the system. Edit: Here is the list: https://nfltraderumors.co/top-100-2023-nfl-free-agents-list/
  10. To sign a player off of another team's practice squad, you have to sign them to your 53-man roster. You have to give them three game checks too. In the coming days, we're going to hear about Ingram and Vickers being signed to the 53 so that will free up practice squad spots. Signing Josh Norman costs the BIlls absolutely nothing except for a PS slot. I took a look at the available current CB UFAs and it's a list of has-beens and never-beens.
  11. Do you want to trade Epenesa, a DE who is playing out of his mind right now, for another DE in Leonard Williams? Or are you thinking about a two-for-one trade? Both of those players have pretty large contracts too.
  12. What your proposing is the type of trade that MLB and NHL teams make all the time. Like the Sabres have a ton of forward depth so they might trade an asset there for some D. But NFL teams don’t usually make those trades because of how the cap works. And a rebuilding team like the Broncos don’t want your players; they want dem picks.
  13. The problem that I saw was that either Dorsey or Josh was afraid to take the shots when they’re there. You run the ball and take short passes to get teams out of the two high shells. The Jags started bringing guys down into the box. When you get that, taking medium to long pass options is not “hero ball.” It’s actually taking what the defense is giving you.
  14. Rub some crystals on it too. And dark rooms. And medical advice from Rogan. Did we miss anything?
  15. I thought that players could come back in two months from a torn Achilles. Aaron Rodgers said it so it must be true.
  16. Due to the injuries, they are going to sign some guys to the 53 from the PS. They will have open slots on the PS. They are taking a flyer here, but because the Bills lost on Sonday the sky is falling at TBD.
  17. Josh Norman started 14 games in SF in 2021 so it's not like he's been out of football since he left Buffalo.
  18. It's an end-of-the-roster PS signing and the season is over? How in the world do you people even get out of bed in the morning?
  19. The season was ruined because the team signed a guy to the PS? Last year we signed a washed up Xavier Rhodes to the PS. Did that spell the end of the season?
  20. Of course it’s the PS. He probably gets cut in a week or two.
  21. We didn’t let him get away. He chose to go to Jacksonville. The rumor was that he wanted to work with another offensive system to bolster his chances of getting an OC job.
  22. You would have to think PS to see if the time off rejuvenated him. The post doesn’t say he is signing to the 53. It’s a depth move for a guy that knows the system.
  23. I'm a little confused. Reading your post, I see that the Bills played the Jets, Raiders, Commanders, and Jags. That's only 4 teams. How can that be? Did the BIlls get a week 4 bye? Something's missing.
