  1. Because Brady wasn’t in every commercial.
  2. The Pro Bowl wasn’t football, but this isn’t even fake football. It’s Battle of the Network Stars.
  3. Don’t you have a match to watch?
  4. Dolphins too. Remember they were all in on Jonathan Taylor during training camp.
  5. I just saw that on the chryon during the Senior Bowl broadcast. BTW, how much of a football problem do we all have if we're spending a Saturday watching a college all-star game that even the players feel is unimportant?
  6. Read that tweet a bit more carefully. It was Tua saying that he expects to sign an extension. What else is he supposed to say?
  7. I started off at 0-8, but that was between 1983-1986. Then I was at the Divisional Round game against the Oilers on 1/1/89, which the Bills won. Then i didn’t go to another game in person until that game in Detroit last year. I was also at the Bucs game this year. So over all, I’m 3-8 but I’m not sure that any game coached by Kay Stevenson or Hank Bullough can be held against me.
  8. Because the defending champion plays a home game on Thursday of week 1, and both the Niners and Chiefs games will be in Buffalo.
  9. People projecting college success into the NFL are in for a surprise. Take CJ Stroud for example. I watch OSU a lot. I saw pretty much every game of his senior year. Yeah, he was good. But there was nothing to tell me that he would be MVP-level in his rookie year and take a previously awful Texans team to the divisional round. And there was certainly nothing that would have suggested that he would be leaps and bounds better than Justin Fields. None of these guys are a Joe Burrow slam dunk but all of them will get overdrafted. And even Joe Burrow was a bit of a one-year wonder.
  10. I have no hate towards Cole as a player. I would argue that he was the most important signing in the development of Josh Allen. But he has burned bridges with the Bills twice.
  11. I don’t think he’s dumb. He’s just confrontational and contrarian. He’s engages in online fights with fans and then asks “why is everyone mad at me?” Come to think of it, that’s pretty dumb.
  12. He declared Dak better than Josh as soon as the ink dried on his Giants contract. He’s a bitter little man.
  13. How is his “recklessness” a reason that he “can’t beat Mahomes?” He doesn’t turn the ball over in the playoffs. Maybe Josh should take some more risks in the playoffs.
  14. You know this was Beasley. Both him and Edelman are founding members of the white slot WR with a beard club. I just don’t get these guys. The one thing that I learned early in my professional life is to never burn bridges. Beasley lights up those bridges with a blowtorch.
  15. Caleb Williams has a dad. For those that follow the NBA, he’ll be the Lavar Ball of the pigskin.
  16. It was always a strange mix of personalities. McDaniel wants to be friends with the players while Vic wants them to drop and give him 20. That was probably never going to work.
  17. Vonte Davis quitting at HT because the team sucked so bad was pretty embarrassing.
  18. Are you here to tell me that the '90s Cowboys were a bunch of milk-drinking choir boys?
  19. This makes for some fun reading https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/can-we-call-the-jets-a-trainwreck-yet.99911/
  20. This guy did a pretty deep dive on value in the NFL draft.
  21. The Dunne article actually increased McDermott's job security, but the NY media market is a different beast. They might just pile on now that they smell blood in the water. Hey, I've got an idea. Why not just let Aaron Rodgers coach the team? He's already the QB and the GM.
  22. I just wrote and erased a very long post about this, but your post states this more succinctly. BTW, I think that we are seeing the same thing with Daboll in NY. Some people don't have the personality to lead white delegating.
  23. Maybe that's true, but there seems to be an assumption here in town that he would. When I listen to local sports talk radio, this is the primary topic of conversation. The debate is about whether the team should tag him or use that money to bolster the lines, but his refusing to play on the tag is never brought up.
