  1. #2 WRs. In fact, #2 WRs are the solutions to all of lifes problems. Want to win a SB? Sign a better #2 WR. Diagnosed with cancer? Sign a #2 WR. World hunger? Just sign a #2 WR and everyone eats at Red Lobster for free.
  2. What you're saying is that after beating up his girlfriend, he went right to the airport, bought a one-way ticket to Buffalo, went right to OBD, and hit the sleds? Genius move. They'll never find him.
  3. People talk about Dak's INTs all the time.
  4. There still hasn't been a report of Von Miller turning himself in.
  5. For those unwilling to read anything other than the OP, this is the latest info:
  6. Strange that they gave the address. There is only one residential building on that block. I now know that Von Miller has/had a condo in the Bleu Ciel complex: https://bleucielliving.com/
  7. It's because he drafts guys with elite traits who sometimes lack college production/coaching. That way he gets draft value, but they take longer to develop. Teams like the Eagles draft guys from Alabama and Georgia who have played at the highest level and are ready for big games in their first season.
  8. It was against the rules to assist a player in any way until 2005. Then they allowed an offensive player to be pushed (but not pulled) for some reason. No team weaponized it until Siriani devised this wedge play that is right from the 1908 Harvard-Yale game.
  9. Strange that he hasn't turned himself in yet.
  10. They can have short, non-padded practices on Monday-Wednesday but no team ever does that.
  11. I hate threads like this. We've been discussing this for hours, but people come in, read the OP, and then respond with the same comments/questions that have been debunked ten pages ago. No, Von Miller's massive contract would have a higher dead cap hit (over 30 million) next year than if he was on the roster. You still have to take the dead cap hit even if his contract is voided due to conduct. The Raiders had to carry Ruggs dead money for two seasons.
  12. There are rules about practice during the bye week in the CBA. They could have had single 3-hour non-padded practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but no team does that. You would get a really bad reputation around the league amongst players for not giving them the whole bye week off. Most players go on vacation. I know that we want them to have fully-padded two-a-day practices with Oklahoma drills to punish them for our anguish over all the losing, but that's not how it works.
  13. Cowherd has been saying for years that "teams can't win with a defensive head coach," and then advocates for Belichick.
  14. NFL salary cap rules are insane. Next year, Von's dead cap hit is higher than the cap hit of keeping him on the roster.
  15. He's so going back to Philly. We're not a contender right now and they have an injury at TE.
  16. It's not really a rumor. In 2021, he was investigated for something that wasn't disclosed and the DA decided not to try the case. He was a Broncos player at the time and the investigation was done in Colorado. I know that Bengals players get away with A LOT because the Hamilton County DA is a season ticket holder. https://www.denverpost.com/2021/02/23/von-miller-criminal-investigation-prosecutor/
  17. That would only save Pegula money. The Bills are still on the hook for a mountain of dead cap.
  18. Apparently, players cannot be cut during the bye week.
  19. He rocks back, then drops and moves forward as he's snapping the ball. It's a triple false start. But the league loves it as a novelty play and because a big market team is running it with a cute nickname so the refs must have been told not to call the penalty.
  20. Cancel the Internet? That would solve so many problems...
  21. Such is the life of a sports fan. People here in Cincinnati will tell you that what Joe Mixon did wasn't all that bad and that's on video.
