  1. Sounds like he's bragging to me, Typical.
  2. Well it does have orange lace trim LOLOLOLOL
  3. Thanks Boyst... I'm sure you threw the one word in there for my benefit LOL. The one I saw on the infomercial was a Generac and looks like they get great reviews. Mike Thanks everybody for the input! Lots to think about even the solar option someone mentioned. Mike
  4. I agree, door #2 has some potential.
  5. Actually these run on your natural gas or propane and are supposed to kick in almost immediately. http://www.generac.com/for-homeowners/home-backup-power
  6. Greetings... I saw a infomercial this morning for Generac home standby generators. I'm just curious as to what peeps that have these found to be their plus's and pitfalls (not just Generac) and if they have suggestions and tips if I decide to look into this. Thanks!... Mike 8/7/17 I had a free estimate today. If I bump off the dryer and stove (I have a convection/microwave separate) it's $6500. Doubt I will do anything right away but gives me a baseline. Thanks again everybody!
  7. I like to wear a back teddy.
  8. Maybe they can bring in Springsteen to sell the tickets. (I know you hate him)
  9. Always good to see your name, reminds me of long ago when we were on Prodigy and made the playoffs every year.
  10. Jack... WGI is just up the road from here (30 miles or less) and still draws a great crowd. Problem there is its a road course 2.3m and you don't see the cars much. BUT its a party track for sure and they have set up video screens all over so you do see the race that way. It was just voted best NASCAR track by USA Today, for what thats worth. Mike
  11. Russian bastards are all over, they can mess with the election but don't !@#$ing mess with the NFL!
  12. Yes I was mistaken yesterday.
  13. I guess you didn't read the second sentence, here I'll help you.... They are playing it smart for once on the injury and not getting hung.
  14. Franchise tag isn't much different than his 5th year option. They are playing it smart for once on the injury and not getting hung. The bandito has a long history of knowledgeable posting.
  15. George Michael like the sports machine? We used to get that up here.
  16. NG.... bitched yesterday in a chat box about why I was paying for a plan that never gives me updates like it was sold. I got that figured out and then said I'm off contract next month so what can I do about that. Then had todays conversation, this is the number they had me call 800-824-9081. I had a pin but says if u don't push two, I'd call now!
  17. Just regular, I really get it for the couple of Bills games our locals don't show and variety on the late games. Maybe I'll ask for that too when I call back next month. Sadly O's should be sellers Ned. Started 22-10 and then crap
  18. I called and got Sunday ticket Max (had originally said just Sunday Ticket) for $99. On the $50 bucks a month off I'm getting they told me to call back between 8/20 and 9/1 as I have one month left on last years deal. Really it was less painful as usual and I have a lot of equipment offers I could get upgraded but leery to do that for a 2 year contract commitment. no leverage then. PS.... does anyone know if there is a "extra" fee for 4k receivers since thats a "free" option I have.
  19. Thats awesome of course its not legal in the NFL the no fun league. i wish at least the NFL would allow the men in motion like the CFL does.
  20. Only thing I would disagree on is that they sure are using them at Watkins Glen or they'd be in a heap of trouble. A lot of cars end up out of the race because of break issues or crashs due to break failure. Of course that was a F1 course.
  21. This is a travesty, what are they going to make them wear burkas? Nobody watches the LPGA for the golf.
  22. What happened to NASCAR? I look at these empty race tracks every week and low ratings and wonder how did they get here. I'll post some thoughts and invite yours. ...When the first NASCAR race came to Watkins Glen Intl, in the 80's the drivers and teams were all over the place promoting the race. That has dwindled to one event in Corning that they have to pay the teams for. They used to have volunteers from places like the Finger Lakes SPCA man the souvenir booths for part of the proceeds. Not anymore, they bought their own stuff in. Mind you I'm talking WGI which actually still packs them in (its a weekend party). ...On the national front they abandoned their roots in North Carolina like Rockingham and built these generic ovals all over the place in Texas, Illinois, Las Vegas and Kansas. Race times used to be a certain between 12-1, now these races start a different time every week. Of course that's if you know what network is carrying it. ...It seems they just lost their path and got greedy to me. Thoughts?
  23. Whaley is a genius..... oh never mind
