  1. It's kinda nice being the hot chick at the coaching bar for a change. Thanks Buddy and Doug for putting these players together, now on to winning some games.
  2. I am not finding confirmation on this. Not on the browns website, and the only article I see from bucks county does not confirm it.
  3. Gotta think Schwartz is going to make the call on whether he has someone available before they let Oneil leave.
  4. Uhhh, hello people! #1 on the list is core special teams players!
  5. I'm going to say we're looking for a big receiver, the other guy is tall too. I wonder if they will come over top of these guys with a draft pick too. I think there are what, 4 tall wr's on the team now, just none of them have any pedigree?
  6. Looks like there should be a decent pass catcher for us in the second round if we want to go that way. I don't know if Evans will run well enough to get into the top half of the first round, it seems every year these wr's are ranked pretty high and then the draft rolls around and most of them fall to the 20's and early in the second.
  7. I agree. I think with CD not having an idea there was a problem leads me toward thinking he was doing what he knew from college but it wasn't enough for the NFL. And with 36 years of college coaching, they didn't want to teach the old dog any new tricks.
  8. I wouldn't mind getting Brett Kiesel on a two year deal and pairing him with a third or fourth round ILB to stop the run.
  9. I do not watch that much of Alabama football, but what I saw last night wasn't good. Saban tried to give him the ball when they were down and if I remember correctly they went three and out, maybe a couple times. I think this was toward the end of the third quarter/beginning of the fourth. Then they went back to the run primarily. Unfortunately it struck me as a T'eo moment for him last night, he had trouble finding the open guys and when he did he was not accurate. Last night the flare in the fourth quarter to Henery for a touchdown seemed like the throw he is capable of making and that's not an NFL throw.
  10. I liked him a lot. McCarron not so much, no reason to spend a pick on him.
  11. Maybe they weren't concerned with special teams abilities when they were building the roster? I saw somewhere on here that there was a lot of turnover on the roster, I think a lot of that was in backups which are normally your St players. I think next year is the make or break season for Danny.
  12. Seems like he's got a strong arm though. McCarron looks like a product of the system. One with a lot of good oline and not a lot of need to bring a team from behind with his arm. We'll see how he does for the rest of the game.
  13. Same as disiplining kids - what other way is there to punish him?
  14. It's looking like Chandler isn't going to help us win. Let it ride with Meoki, gragg and smith next year
  15. If they weren't division games against teams in the playoff hunt, I'd think about losing them. I do think it would be huge toward changing the culture to win both. Hopefully Mr Hackett can get creative in an attempt to get these wins. I'd like to see Goodwin targeted/touch the ball 5-10 times per game; reverses, bubble screens, whatever you have to do to get him the ball with a chance to go the distance.
  16. You can find some clips with just a youtube search for the player and the year, assuming the player is pretty highly ranked. I was doing that for the qb's in play for us last year, I think the cutup video's from the games were around 10 minutes a piece.
  17. It should be pointed out that (I assume) those games are from last year and in the other video against Alabama in 2013 he looks better. Don't know about the other games in 2013 because I don't watch too much of college football. I think the throws are better by Johnny in 2013 too. When I watched the 2012 video I thought of David Nelson, but I thought Nelson caught the ball better. Bad technique along the sideline and in the one game he seemed to be making the first down sign with the ball in one hand while inbounds and guys were tackling him. Signs of a knucklehead? If he is in the running for our pick I'll take a look at some of the other 2013 games for fun. T'eo was a top 5 pick before he ran into some competition so it's even tougher to say who's going to be in the top 10 at this point.
  18. I think you move Hairston to guard to compete, and possibly pick up a guard in fa if there's no one on the roster who can put Legursky on the bench. Draft an OT to play the right side and move pears to backup tackle. Don't move Glenn, we want to be able to sign him to a second contract. Signing guys that deserve it to second contracts is how to build a winner.
  19. So I guess I'm confused what the original intent with drafting Kiko was. I don't see Moats or even Bradham on the field alot, do you see the same? If Kiko was originally slated for the will spot, don't you think that would be a waste of a 2nd round pick if Moats had ended up playing the middle? Or would they adjust the base defense to get the will and mlb on the field? Also, if we really don't need another starting lb that would push the need down below positions that will get more playing time in my mind.
  20. I haven't posted it in a while, so I will again. A TE is a nice addition after making the playoffs. The 20's are a good spot to take a decent one who can help you get over the hump. Problem is we haven't made it to the hump yet.
