Let's not jump to conclusions, he needs to come out of contusion protocol first. -

I feel like this is the 5th or 6th time my house has been on the show, in fact, the show's been the only thing consistent about the last 17 or so years -

I can't stop seeing Tony Kealy. -
Do you have a recommendation for a vpn to use with the firestick? Thanks.

Sure, because all of Urban Meyers' qb's are so awesome at reading defenses. If Cardale would have gone into the nfl after the national championship run, it would have been better for his professional career; he didn't. By staying in school would he get it completed and graduate on time? No, he didn't. He needs to be a professional and commit to becoming an nfl qb in order to take the next step, and that step is to EARN more game playing time on the practice field. Hopefully Rivers can teach him because I think the sky's the limit with this guy if he wants it.

I'm hoping they're trying to showcase him for a trade. -
Is McDermott/Bean just Jauron/Levy II?

Where I see similarity is in the owners box. TP needs to establish what he wants for his football team and make sure whoever comes in adheres to that vision. He signed off drafting these players as well as trading them away. There must be boundaries on the front office and it seems we won't be building a team until our identity is established, either by the Pegula’s or someone coming in. At this point he is ralph willing to spend money. -
turning the roster over fast!

I guess we should be happy that instead of taking two years to do flush the roster, it's going to be 6 months plus we're getting some return. Yay us! Although I think the return is more a function of the available talent than anything else. The hit rate on draft picks will not be appreciably higher than the league average. To think otherwise is folly. My only hope is the current folks will be given enough time to get this done. Like 5 years time. Because if not, it's going to feel like groundhog day around here. -

Relax, most of us understand and appreciate you thinking of us even if it was a little premature e-twitt-ulation. If someone wants to wait for the paper to come out in the morning let them. Just never let your buddy forget what a ninny he was! -
Cardale traded to chargers!!

Because he didn't draft a qb for the west coast offense? -
Turnover on this team is staggering.

So when you throw the additional 4-5 players who don't fit either schema-wise or personality-wise over the first two years of a new coach it really does set you back. Makes your drafts and player depth look worse. Plus changes the players you need to acquire. What would have happened to the roster had we continued with Rex? Found a way to sign gilmore and gilislee? The new coaches/OBD folks have nothing invested in them and are more willing to find their own guys via open competition. We just haven't given them the time to put a full roster together. I am hoping the Pegs has learned that he needs to give them some rope. -
Haha. I always used to love the Steelers camp (albeit training camp) notes - Jerome Bettis is in the best shape of his career this year!

Why would he stockpile when he was good at picking up free agent talent? You hit on a guy and he could be huge for a long time. -
I've had fair results with the bucket, also got a bird for example. I had the most luck with the bucket bait mouse/rat traps using peanut butter and bird seed. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Kness-102-0-019-Snap-E-Mouse-Trap-6/dp/B004B9XPOO There's a couple guys that video their pellet guns too, come a long way from the open sights of the 70's that I used.

Tim Graham:Whaley wasted everyone's time.

Just a lottery ticket that will be thrown out before checking the numbers because of the change in coaches. I don't know if Smith will hit a wall per se, maybe injuries get to him? I happen to think TT has a chance to get better and is a better qb than Smith anyway so the path to this model works for me. As a first step our team has to be strong enough to get to the playoffs with TT. That will mean, to me at least, that the drafting and depth are in place for a longer run. Then start burning higher picks on qb's to get over the top. The chances of getting a qb that needs to develop into a franchise qb will be much greater if we can have stability in the front office and the coaching staff. -

Sure, he gave up a 7th to secure a wr. Should have picked ty hilton, but that's another story. Buddy said he would like to take a qb every year if possible. I think that has to be balanced against what the team needs are. Because just like ej, not every qb is going to work out. I really wish we can find a coach that will be here for a few years so we can build through the draft. Instead of burning picks replacing guys who don't fit with the new coach we can burn picks on a qb prospect. I don't know if wilson or cousins comes in here and performs as well because of the volitility around our team. We'll probably be getting rid of Cardale because he's not a timing passer. While a lottery ticket, we did not give ourselves a chance to cash in on that ticket. A lot of the depth players will be replaced first with bodies then by draft picks. It's a treadmill to mediocrity. I would rather do it the way KC has, get a team to the playoffs then start sinking high draft picks into finding a qb. For me it starts with the coach so I'm hopeful McDermott is the one and not some type anti-rex. Regardless, I would rather keep him until the roster turnover settles even if that means some empty seats in the stadium. Pegula’s going to pay either way. -

I think that what did Whaley in was not being able to convince non-football savvy owners that Rex was was a bad hire. All the rumors that Whaley really wanted Jackson points to him not being a strong enough personality. Why are you the GM let the owner make that $25 million mistake? That and the press conference disavowing any knowledge of why Rex was fired. Pegula mentioned in the subsequent interview that he and Doug had talked about Rex during the season. Doug giving the impression that he had no clue why Rex was fired causing TP to have to do an interview couldn't have helped. Well, not in the fourth unless we traded up. And I really think Buddy wanted Cousins and rolled the dice that he would be there considering most of the teams picking before us had either already taken a qb that year or already had one. Maybe he could have had him rated higher to consider trading up or just taking him in the third, but he didn't.
