  1. With a new OC I will be shocked if there isn't some quality competition brought in for Peterman, especially with the supposed depth in this qb class. Hopefully we'll have enough draft picks to do that.
  2. Link didn't point to article for me and looks like this message was also put on a Pats* board.
  3. Nah, the fat does that. The shirt makes you look like your knees attach directly to your ass.
  4. And this class may also put a few decent vets on the street, assuming we have some cash for them. Shady should have a lighter load this year between the qb and the better backups. I think a second rounder next year would do well to transition from shady carrying the primary load.
  5. I would rather spend the late round picks on depth for the front seven, especially lb. Udfa rb for me this year.
  6. Something about this statement next to your avatar is disturbing.
  7. Im goin' with Bob newhart
  8. It would take some balls of steel to be a free agent qb that takes over for Brady.
  9. If I remember correctly, similar thoughts caused aaron Rodgers to drop during his draft. That would be nice at this point, but I would have thought that deal would have been done before moving TT. If we were the team to offer a second for foles that was rejected, I can't imagine the cost is going to go down now.
  10. When I first saw the title, I thought Landry jones steelers backup qb with the hale connection. Maybe letting fa qb's know they are serious about winning?
  11. Hindsight is 20/20. Obviously. He was not a first round talent or we would have taken him at 8. But we got our guy. And there are plenty of guys drafted higher that flamed out faster and harder. The proof will be over time.
  12. That has not stopped prospects from getting drafted in the first round, nor from doing well as an nfl player. I would also submit that in this day that qb's are getting overdrafted because front offices realize their importance. Hey, if we can find someone to trade with in the top 5 that's great, but has it ever even happened? I could see them coming down in the top ten, but dropping to 21/22? Doesn't seem likely. So if it makes you feel better to take someone else instead of rudolph, then go right ahead. I like him better than mayfield, although I would really like to add the OU offensive coordinator to the staff, I think they made him look better than he is.
  13. I like him because for the most part he's not stupid with the ball. The times when his wr's help him out, at least to me, is more about where the ball is placed than about their ability. He was able to give those guys a chance. I don't like how there are times he seems to lose his footwork and hitting the little loop-de-doo passes he did in college won't happen in the nfl. Like I said in the other thread, let's just take two qb's at 21 and 22 and let them battle it out behind tyrod. Maybe Rudolph and Jackson. Less pressure on them to be the man right out of the gate, and if neither can get it done to our satisfaction we can get a veteran guy next off season and draft someone else.
  14. Excellent, so everyone agrees, we'll just take qb's at 21 and 22 and let them fight to be the backup to taylor. That way most folks will have someone to complain about and someone to cheer for.
  15. Didn't click the link, but I assume it's not going to get much better for him in Buffalo.
  16. I happen to be okay with that. I would rather spend those type (lower round) of picks elsewhere. I think a udfa or two will fill the gaps well enough for me.
  17. Seems like Cleveland has the draft ammo to get the first and second picks overall. I could see them taking barkley and then trading to 2nd to take the qb, if the NYG are willing to move from #2 which it seems they are.
  18. Yes, that and kw95 needs to have another button loose on his polo shirt.
  19. How about he pulled his qb in the second half of the game and won it.
  20. Two different stadiums
  21. Wow, really people, think Spagnola and have fun with it. Point being we were going to take a qb so top guys went to the games of folks we were interested in. DD, have any Bills front office folks been to bowl games to look at top picks?
