Maybe it's just me, but the only thing that is obvious to me is that Josh had decided Hollins was the target prior to the snap. With the little pump fake seems to me Josh was going for it but Hollins had nothing. Might actually be a problem that has reared it's ugly head before, maybe even something that would piss off a wr like Diggs after watching film. Because really, with that setup and the short routes Shavers is the play all day.

Josh has got to stop taking huge shots on the scramble drill plays, he's not going to make it long if he does. We need to get a TE or back to block and then release for the easy dump offs instead. We can try rolling him that way in the first place too, hopefully getting him to set up out there will be safer for him to get rid of the ball before getting a shot.

Seems to be more effective since we have less talent on the outside. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm cringing when I see Josh throwing the ball over 30 yards. Coleman doesn't have the body control yet to win jump balls consistently and between balls being thrown poorly and the lack of talent to adjust seems like a bad situation this year, at this point.

We brought in a guy this year to help with booth reviews and that seems to have worked out well. I just don't know; do we have a guy to help with in-game management? If we do, it seems like we need a different guy.

Seems to me there is a bit of a book on JA now. Take the middle away and make our wr's beat you outside. The announcers talked about how the ravens wanted to do that and seemed to me the texans did it to. It's up to Brady to try and counter that with what we have. Will be interesting if we see some different guys getting a few more snaps, like maybe even getting Hamler up just to try and threaten the defense a little bit differently from what we've been doing.

Yeah, that one where Samuel's guy blitzed (in the third Q I think) I thought Samuel should have just gone out and turned around. Instead he went down the field 20 yards.

I also suspect the toe is causing some issues. I think it makes sense at this point to just ir him and give him the time to heal. Let some other wr's get some experience and hope that the team is stronger overall heading into the playoffs. Maybe they're looking to use a couple of weeks plus the bye later in the season, but someone needs to be able to get open out of the slot if we don't have Shakir. Since it doesn't seem like Samuel can be that guy at this point and I would rather find that other guy sooner rather than later.

I'm with you. I tend to grab one on the way in to the store whether I need one or not. Could be one from the return or left wherever (like the handi area) or grabbing one from someone who just happens to be done unloading it. I'll just leave it at the front if I don't need it. Seems like an easy thing to do, and I don't need a quarter to do it.

I don't know what the Bills will do, but I will be happy, assuming that we make the playoffs, that we're not running on empty on the defensive side of the ball.

Little might be available on waivers tomorrow.

I liked that the whole team picked up the slack for JA17 not being at full strength. Hope McD can capture that spirit again come playoff time because that's the type of effort we need to get over the hump.

Could be a numbers thing and expectations of that, in Ray Davis' case, position. His was the most egregious to me. He just needed to wrap up, looked like he went for the knockout shoulder. That is on coaching for me, the player needs to know you have to get the man down in that case, especially if you're a rookie offensive player. You're not trying to be a hero, just do your job.

I'm having the kicker knuckle it down to the 5 yard line, trying to get it in between the returners. Either the ball bounces around some or it hits in the field of play and goes out of the endzone putting the ball at the 20.
