  1. They really should include gunners and returners in the position listing for the specialists in the 53 to make it clearer because that really is why some players are on the roster.
  2. I saw that too, but since I'm older I was more interested in the hat Terry was wearing.
  3. I disagree. I don't live in the area but try to make it up once a year and when I hear that song it always reminds me of the games.
  4. Sorry, this is just hilarious to me. The basis of his philosophy is that squats building short twitch muscles were an issue? How about over training your quads causes a muscle imbalance which makes your hamstring susceptible to tearing? Or over training your calves causes your achilles to tear? I guess it's good stuff if you can sell it.
  5. I would amend that to say the Steelers would have to come up to St John Fisher first, then we would go there. Although I don't mind when the Bills come to Latrobe because it gives me a chance to see them.
  6. Here's a shorter video: http://www.cc.com/video-clips/o0efj7/tosh-0-prancercise
  7. Thought he was a good pass protector but not a mauler, so losing weight doesn't help. Hopefully he has the desire to get back, could be why the pats* dumped him.
  8. I saw Mike Zimmer mention something in the offseason that having current game film available during the game would make it too easy to make adjustments and shouldn't be allowed. I immediately thought that's going to be the next thing the Pats* get caught at.
  9. Do you have any examples of this happening? What the Steelers normally do is let the draft fall to them, especially in the first couple rounds. I think they have gone up for Polamalu, Santionio holmes and maybe Kendrell bell in the last 20 or so years? They evaluate the players and take guys who will help them win in the next year. I think the Rooney's learned the value of player evaluation between the 60's and the 70's and still see that as the most important factor in the draft. I think this is why Whaley was not all that concerned about getting a qb first and foremost.
  10. They will need helmets in 2018 if Allen gets on the field. I'd think the folks in the front row at field level might need to pay attention too.
  11. It very well may be weird - as are some of the questions asked at the combine. As I mentioned, Highsmith has probably asked non-football folks similar questions and has gotten useful info. Seems like an example of how deep the research can go on prospects. I would say as the star qb, Rosen is known wherever he goes. How many boyfriends do you think the coach can name? It is interesting to me the depth that some of these guys go to, right or wrong. It kind of blinds them sometimes. There's a mountain of data on Rosen and this exchange is what Highsmith seems to remember as a tipping point?
  12. I'm assuming the issue was the volleyball coach had nothing good to say, which seems like it would be a red flag. He's probably asked other sport coaches before and the input was at some level useful to him. It even seems this particular coach would have more contact with Rosen since he's probably around the volleyball team a little more often.
  13. Not a guy that can't catch anymore. Dallas tried to get him the ball but he was having none of it. I think a low end fa is the place to go for help at this point
  14. Isn't that the same dude who mistakenly ran out of the end zone?
  15. I think if you hit on that you need to make stromboli deliveries to any Bills fan in the lower 48 who wants one. An area tailgate will do. Thanks in advance.
