  1. A change is in the wind....offensive, that is
  2. I'll say this is the day Josh Allen separates himself from Sam Darnold.
  3. Stay safe, don't dilly dally if it's time to leave. 2020 is indeed a historic year. Just a few more disaster boxes to check and we'll have filled our card.
  4. I get tired of paying for things I don't need or want or have the time to use. That's why the cable companies are in trouble with cord cutting and why there are so many people looking for alternatives here. I want Bills games, maybe not even all of them but my options are to pay for all this other stuff. So I find what I need and am willing to pay for.
  5. Not that it matters, but that seems like a photo-shopped picture. I was trying to figure out who the huge guy on the left was...
  6. Don't know what they have available - for me it's things like average i/o wait times, cpu/memory utilization are where you want (all low). I guess you would be looking for that and maybe an average page delivery time if they can get it. Here is something for my disk, hopefully you can see it. Maybe some perfmon charts would be a place to start, my windows experience is a little dated so I don't have a real good idea of the latest system monitoring tools available. If you get a baseline you can see how it goes over time and if you know what normal looks like you will know what a problem looks like. Again, depending on how much time you want to spend.
  7. Have you seen any performance charts yet? Nice flatline?
  8. According to reports I've read, they are merging their offenses. I'm guessing that Peyton Manning ran a lot of the stuff he was used to in Den and the same will apply here. As far as McBeane, they are here because of what they did with what they had. Not only can McDermott get his players to play above their talent level, but Beane can spot both pro and college talent. And as you said, that is while dismantling things. Really the only question now is if Josh will continue to improve enough (for me over the next two years) to move into the franchise qb floor. I will say McBeane have rolled out the red carpet for him and if he can't, I think they will be able to find someone else to do it. With BA it's kind of funny that Brady is there, it's like a rebound girlfriend for him. Bastard Billy and Arians are opposite ends of the spectrum so it will be interesting how long that "new relationship" vibe will last, but with that talent Brady should be able to get more than a few wins this year. I don't know about a Super Bowl, but I think they should go deep into the playoffs.
  9. As a bills fan I'm going to say yes to this one. Their pass defense was among the worst? At what, starting field position? They had the most attempts against and still didn't do badly, especially when the stats are averaged in to the attempts. Seems like they could use a safety, but I don't know their team very well. We've seen the same thing here - if a team doesn't need to pass against you your pass d looks great, and the same can be said for the run d. What that D will be able to count on is a lot of rest and to be on the field closer to 900 snaps instead of over 1000. If you think TB will flame out at 6-10 you might as well bet their games this year and make some real money.
  10. Hmmm, gonna disagree with the comparison. At a high level TB is a stable org with BA, Brady is walking into an offense that Winston was able to run well. Solid defense that is also stable and established - versus - Freddie Kitchens, a young qb, a defense that supposed to be good but has trouble staying healthy?
  11. Sort of. What he is asked to do would change year to year, right? And Dabol may not put him in the same number of difficult situations this year or he might get a different number, that's to be determined. Whatever they want to do this year seems like he'll be involved.
  12. That's still a big number for a te and the 8 total puts him at number one baby. https://www.nflpenalties.com/position/tight-end?year=2019
  13. Yeah, the false start penalties are a problem that should be correctable. I guess it says something that McDermott can tolerate that by keeping him on the roster.
  14. I don't think the holding penalties are going to change much, with the one on one matchups he is given against de's it looks to me like he's using everything in his bag to get it done. Sometimes that means some creative holding, which Lee is also good at, but sometimes gets busted for.
  15. Not what I meant by saying that, your statement just brought memories of Doug back to me. No offense intended.
  16. If it's me, given this year, I want to make sure I have a guy that can run the offense on the 53. I think both vets stick.
  17. You're going to have to get used to having a perceived excess of good players for a while, at least until JA's second contract kicks in. I know it's been something Bills fans haven't been used to, but it will be ok. We don't have to pin our hopes on the young guys anymore, when they are ready they will prove it. So if injuries happen and guys like Davis step up then you have a situation where the flexibility is there to trade an established player. If Davis proves he isn't ready, then he goes back to work to get better when the injured player returns. Similar to what happened with Knox last year. With us having a playoff caliber roster, I think it is a wonderful time to draft a te early.
  18. No preseason games = no tape for prospective trades. Camp tape of 9 route for a touchdown = hope
