  1. Nick reminds me of this guy: "Hans, bubby, I'm your white knight." ―Ellis to Hans Gruber Harry Ellis was a sleazy businessman working for the Nakatomi Corporation. A cocaine user, and stereotypical yuppie, Ellis arrogantly attempted to assist Hans Gruber in betraying John McClane to save his own life, only to get himself killed by Gruber in the process. https://diehard.fandom.com/wiki/Harry_Ellis
  2. I think it will be only one quarter that the game will be close. The main reason is I think Daboll will ratchet down the aggressive play calling in the first quarter to get Josh in a good rhythm in an attempt keep "hero" Josh in check. Between the fans and a chance for playoff redemption after last year Josh is going to be amped up. In my opinion Josh pushed too hard early against the Steelers by trying to win the game in the first quarter. That caused Daboll to change the play calling to calm Josh down so I think he heads it off tomorrow and just has a lot of runs and short throws scripted to start the game. Once Josh is in a groove we'll be looking to attack the entire field.
  3. Smells like not everyone thought starting Tua was a good idea.
  4. To me, Barkley looked like a lot of the qb's we've had over the last 20 years, some good and some bad but I am hoping we can upgrade the position.
  5. With Covid protocols, for much can they really "bring him in" this week? I assume he would have to be cleared to spend any quality time in the building and that's what 5-6 days?
  6. Was kinda hoping they would have gotten something done a little earlier in the year. Going to be tough to keep him from testing the market now.
  7. Davis has been targeted the last few weeks but his catch % has dropped. Plus he didn't come back to the ball that was picked, even though it was a really nice play by the Miami cb. To me hasn't looked super sharp the last few weeks. Just a guess by me as a possibility. https://www.rotoworld.com/football/nfl/player/60126/gabriel-davis/game-log
  8. I'm happy to say I could give a flyer about offseason moves while the season is still going on.
  9. If he's willing to sit on the practice squad (a la Fromm) and fill in if needed due to injury or covid outbreak that's great. Probably not a lot of downside for him, worst case he collects a check or four, best case he gets in and helps us get a ring. For me the only other possibility is if Davis has hit the rookie wall and they are concerned about him playing at a high level in the playoffs. Either way it's nice to have the option.
  10. Jets job is spoken for, isn't it? Doug Marrone is finally incoming!
  11. Running the ball is one part of being a running back. This coaching staff seems to be willing to let folks compete so if he can get the rest of the game down he might have a chance.
