  1. Seemed to go with a 4-3 with some run blitzing. We'll see what roman comes back with
  2. I don't think Josh will have a problem throwing in this weather, Lamar on the other hand will.
  3. Well, normally he coaches, especially now with the bad eye thing going on
  4. When you like what you see, you like what you see. This isn't the same old Bills baby!
  5. On a side note, I wonder how much perception plays into that, specifically sideline demeanor. You'd like to think the front offices wouldn't take that into account much, but Daboll might be at a disadvantage because he is up in the coaching box. Not that it's the end all be all, but when you consider many owners are too involved in the process you get guys that look good on tv versus knowing football. (see Ryan, Rex) And of course those teams selecting on looks seem to be selecting new coaches more often also. Maybe Daboll decides to go down to the sidelines next year assuming he misses the musical chair routine this year.
  6. The defense can substitute if the Ravens bring in more wr's. The 5-2 just matches up against a one or two wr set.
  7. Yeah, I saw them playing that a little too, I'm just not a fan of Edmunds on the line, doesn't seem like he can't shed well enough to maintain the edge of the defense. Hopefully we'll find some combo that works.
  8. I can't remember which game it was, but we came out in a 4-3 that didn't last long, maybe one series. Assuming the coaches didn't like what they saw. I said it the pregame thread, I know it won't happen but would love to see a version of the 5-2. Let the DE's take the outside shoulder and jam the te's, especially andrews. Edmunds, Milano and poyer handle the te's and watch for Lamar running. Might get Oliver into some one on one matchups and just gum up the running lanes.
  9. I understand what you're saying but they will still need some attempts to keep Frazier honest. I'm hoping that will lead to inaccuracy and a turnover. I wouldn't mind us going to basically a 5-2 look by taking T Johnson off the field and bringing in another dt. Let Edmunds, Milano and Poyer handle the TE's (jam them off the line with the DE's) and let's see what happens. Doubt we go there, but it would be fun to see. I do expect to see more 4-3 looks with Klein in for Johnson.
  10. It's also goin to hurt Jackson more, anytime you don't have a true spiral on the ball the wind effects it even more. I'll take my chances with JA throwing in the wind, he has what it takes to make the most of it.
  11. Looks like 3 other coaches won't be back also. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/01/14/steelers-announce-ol-coach-shaun-sarrett-db-coach-tom-bradley-wont-return/ https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/01/14/steelers-tight-ends-coach-james-daniel-retires/
  12. In Bills fans terms, that's a hard fought divisional loss turnout. Poor effort Cleveland.
  13. I assume Caserio will only hire someone he interviews so prior interviews may not matter much even though they are satisfying the rule. That said, I think it's interesting that Frazier was selected and I think it's a recognition of his work with the Bills. Assuming the folks in NE* respected Frazier. Good luck with the interview coach!
  14. The Steelers were also missing a few defensive starters, they lost a couple guys during this game too. They do have some decisions to make (dupree), but I highly doubt they do anything like tanking. Just not what they do. I will enjoy the angst the fans will have though. I'll be sure to take my jabs. I'm sure there are plenty of people looking to flush everyone. I have a feeling there will be some room opening up in the steelers bandwagon.
