I was surprised while watching the game that when Buffalo goes heavy run, Anderson in as tackle eligible, they send Coleman out there. It seems to me like that would be a good spot to put Cooper in, could draw more attention from a safety and really shouldn't need to block at all, you're basically one on one. If they don't trust Cooper to be out there in that situation I don't think it bodes well for any additional usage overall and we'll see more of the same over these next two games.

And you have a cb and lb coming in, there's no reason a guard can't get a hand on each one of them. The two I saw the guard made no attempt to get the second guy. Seems like bad scheme/coaching this late in the season. You know the chiefs are bringing it

These are my observations - I don't go too much out of my way to look at what the Steelers are doing. That said, Omar Khan took control this year and flushed the qb room. So I think they've seen enough from Fields to keep him around but I have to think they'll be looking for a vet to come in and run the show. I assume that will be someone who Arthur Smith is familiar with. Omar will not be afraid to make a move if there's someone they want. I am not up on their cap situation for next year and it will be interesting to see if how Khan navigates that. The Steelers don't really take a year off from competing for a championship so they'll try and field the best team possible. Seems like there is a lot of work to do, the last part of the prior gm Colbert's drafting seems to be a little lacking.

I did see us play a couple of snaps with three lbs, so you're closer to what might happen. I'd still like to see them put 5DL on the field to see what the Ravens would do. But it is too far out of their comfort zone to actually do it.
