  1. Agree. He looked really good in both games. Outside of Mahomes and maybe Rice, that offense isn't particularly scary.
  2. This makes him the 8th highest paid RT in the NFL. By the time next season starts he won't even be top ten. It's a ridiculous amount of for an OL, but I don't see how it's not a big win for Beane.
  3. Looks like they updated the map on 506 to get rid of that aqua blue patch around DC.
  4. Hmmm. I'm in DC and it looks like we get the Bills this week, but my TV says that it's the Patriots-Bengals game.
  5. Should someone call and ask to speak to the manager?
  6. I'd throw in Kincaid, just to be sure another team doesn't swoop in and beat that offer.
  7. No, for the same reason as others. At most I would need it for six games, so it's far cheaper (and more fun) to watch those games at the local Bills bar.
  8. Any list without Nathan Peterman is not worth my time.
  9. I'll never doubt the thigh doctor again.
  10. You mean Kyle Trimble (who is on Joe Mariano's show regularly)? Here's what he says:
  11. Are they actually set on kickoff and punt returns? I wouldn't mind picking up a veteran returner who can also provide depth at CB or WR.
  12. Buffalo is tailor-made to host a draft at some point. The city will never be able to host a Super Bowl, but the draft is a different story and would be epic television. Honestly, and I know that I'm biased, but the NFL would be crazy not to consider Buffalo at some point soon.
  13. I would definitely watch a replay of that game if Bass actually makes the kick this time.
  14. Any chance they could get DeJean or Newton at 33 and then trade back up into the second round to take Franklin, Ladd, Mitchell or Coleman? Then grab Walker or Polk later on.
  15. Brandon Beane is an NFL GM with a team of scouts at his disposal and an entire coaching staff to provide feedback. I watch games on my couch and read message boards. Beane clearly didn't want Worthy or Legette, so who am I to question that decision, especially given concerns raised about both players, especially Worthy. There is obviously someone out there that Beane wants and now he has a materially better position in the middle part of the draft. He deserves the benefit of the doubt, at least for now.
  16. Allen & Company? So now Josh is handling quarterbacking, drafting, and banking?
  17. The Bills are going to get blown out this Sunday.
  18. Good point. You're exactly right and I actually made the same point yesterday. If Beane hits on a WR in the draft it completely changes the future of the franchise by getting younger and cheaper at a key position (and less drama) to complement other promising pass catchers in Kincaid and Shakir.
  19. If we wind up using the cap savings from Diggs to sign Cee Dee Lamb I would support adding Beane to the Ring of Fame the very next day.
  20. So are you saying that I should cancel my jersey order?
  21. Ok, so I've been trying to process this all day and I'm starting to like this trade more and more. At the end of the day Beane is taking a huge gamble, which either results in him revitalizing the team or costing us next season. It's a virtual lock that he goes WR in round 1, no lower than 28 and hopefully higher. If he hits on that pick, we're suddenly younger and cheaper at a key position, and without all of the drama that Diggs brings. With Diggs gone an athletic receiver also should help Shakir and Kincaid take it to the next level, and both of them can replace 14 as great route runners on third down plays. And on top of that we get a boatload of cap space next year. If that happens the window is as wide open as ever. Obviously the flip side is that Beane's pick is a bust, in which case it could be a long year, but the reward is worth that risk.
  22. So how long until Diggs starts making cryptic comments about Stroud?
