Yes, but who cares? What's done is done. I've been a Bills fan for 20 years and will always be a Bills fan. You'll never see a whiny "I'm done post from me", but I'm pretty worn down and disillusioned by the past two months.

8-8, with a few late season wins to get them there (i.e., they will never really be in contention). It won't be bad enough for Gailey to be fired and it will result in another draft pick in the 8-12 range.

Why is Cowher's opinion of who would make a good HC relevant? Cowher is a proven winner as a coach and as someone who knows how to hire quality assistants. That said, I'm not sure how that translates into an ability to pick someone who can be a successful head coach. I'm glad that he has faith in Gailey, but frankly I'm not sure how much that actually means.

If Wilfork becomes an UFA, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that his enjoyment of a team from almost 20 years ago isn't going to play much of a factor in his decision.

People need something to keep them occupied while there are no flights to check, airports to stalk or or message boards to troll.

Considering that they were basically refusing to even give the guy an interview, despite his active lobbying for the job, I think the writing was on the wall.

Why does this surprise anyone? The Bills have sucked for the last decade because of poor drafts, poor FA decisions (both in terms of players signed and let go), and three head coaches who weren't up to the task. Two of those three HCs have gone on to have success again as assistants, and the third may very well be a good DC in the league again. That said, none were head coaching material, and with a few exceptions (mostly at the OC position), we've had pretty good assistants and coordinators throughout the decade.

I hope you are right. Nix has a great track record in terms of picking players, but the fact is that he has never run an organization. I'm not saying that he can't, but choosing players is not the same as hiring a coach, setting up an effective front office and scouting department, and making general personnel decisions. Maybe Nix will do a great job, and maybe he's already made some moves that nobody knows about, but at this point I can understand everyone's frustration.
