This week's "WTF?" point spread
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to smokinandjokin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So why do you even wast your time? It is obvious that you cant stand ANY part of this team. Did you loose your meds? -
I havent heard JP making any excuses......unless your talking about him admitting that the OFFENSE is struggling to get on the same page, or he himself has messed up. He hasnt blamed ANYONE beyond himself.......if he has please post your sources.

Bills recipe for winning.

So, how long does it take to tailor a team around a QB or any player that is? I would have to believe more than one off season thats for sure. -

Wow, are them not the type of numbers Big Ben had when the steelers went to the SB? Oh, what he was a rookie....just expected to manage the game and not loose it while he learns the system. While JP is not a rookie, he is not a "experienced vet" in a new system, so let him manage the game, and not turn the ball over.....No I am not saying he will lead us to the SB anytime soon. But he will gain the experience most QBs need, learn the current system, and hopefully get some connection with at least one of the recievers. But that makes too much sense -
Your right, in certain situations you can make a change like that and make the OL seem somewhat reliable. But I personally dont believe that would help this team. Look at all the experienced skilled players (mainly recievers) Dallas has. That plays a big part of it also.......In a nut shell I believe there is enough blame to go around.

43, Let him play, at least till it is evedent that it his ALL his fault this offense sucks. -
I honestly dont think we stand a chance and would be lucky if we dont get BLOWN OUT.........Indy 42 Bills 6 But heck the fish beat the bears, so there is always hope
-
Since you bring it up, I didnt know JP is suppose to catch his passes too? Oh what thier are recievers? Yammers so how many passes were COMPLETE, but the reciever didnt make the 1st, or PASS were DROPPED? Who's fault was the sack? You make me wonder so many things with your short sighted remark. I am sure some one with your educatation lvl should be able to answer........or do we not want to know

A Question To All TSW Posters
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I gathered GB felt sorry for us -
Boy what a thing to debate, which RB to start. I think it is a good thing to have two capable RB. The only thing I would like to see is them used as a combo, punch because of thier running style differences........but all in all the RB position is one of the last positions I would worry about........Unless WM is out long term, then back up would be come a concern.

Who said anything about being better than Edge? I just said they have been able to RUN the ball consistantly
-
Your so right but SO wrong, I believe he has also had the same HC, and system in place during his tenure with the pats. Yes he is a darn good QB, but you have to give others credit too.......what a QB can do with a good running game. Which NE has been doing for several years now! It is a team effort, and NE HC does a wonderful job off getting them to play!

Who would you rather have over Losman?
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he could survive the number of sacks with out being hurt I am not convinced that any ONE player would make a difference at this point in time..... Just as well let JP have time to DEVELOPE........fix the holes in the off season, and bring him in some competition to earn the job next season with hopefully a better supporting cast! Mainly an better OL! -
Be afraid of Green Bay!
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to Corp000085's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have always liked Farve, he has been a great QB..........But if we can put some points on the board fast, and get him to shoulder the game maybe he will throw some wild ones, our D gets some INT then we should have a fighting chance! -
Can't we all just agree...this team does NOT
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally dont feel we are that far away, the remainder of the season my change my mind though. It basically comes down to what happens with the OL shuffle. As of today, I think our trenches on both sides of the ball needs to be address, mainly the tackle positions. Possibly a corner also. The reason I say this is, if the OL constantly needs help from the TE and backs for blocking, your taking half of your weapons away.......thus having less targets for the QB. Up till know, we know JP hasnt had a lot of time to through the ball for the most part, in which the recievers have little time for thier routes. There is no SPREADING of the defense. On the other side of the ball, our line is not getting constant preasure on the QB thus allowing all the time in the world for thier recievers to get open. You can only cover some one so long before some one losses his assignment. If we bring in a corner to help the lines we have less coverage...... Another unknown is how much of the inexperience of our rookies is making our vets look bad by watching out for them too thus doing trying to do to much? So I think that we need to give it time to make the assesment! it will all come in time! -
I Fear That Right Around The Corner
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to Buffalo Baumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well there is a concept! Lets fix the OL! If the shake up doesnt fix it, we can use the next draft and FA. While we are at it, we can fix the DL too! Once the lines are fixed.......the next year.......We should be play off bound in no time, we will just have to sign a QB. I mean the QB position is the easiest to fill. So the way I see it we should be SB contenders in two years......with a one year wonder. Doh, LIKE GET REAL. Jauron even says there is no Magical time line.....and you cant count last year because of all is different in schemes, coaching, and ect. Last I checked, he has final say. Give JP some time, at least one full season. Dont give up be for the miricale happens -
No matter what you think the future holds for JP
PacificCoastBillsFan replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But if your OL isnt giving you time to put the ball down field, you take what you can get an hope your reciever gets some YAC, or JP could hold onto the ball and take a sack........Sorry I dont have any stats on how many 3rd & long presures there were in relationship to short yds passes. I will leave it up to all you statitions argue JP's stats, rankings, and how come not to mention what they really mean in relationship to this team. All I know is I hope the OL shake up helps this TEAM, and they do some serious recruiting this off season!
