  1. People are going to see it as they wish to see it. But if you cannot honestly think that with Six minutes left in the game, that field goal would have won the game. A touch down maybe, but not a field goal........If I am not mistaking, the colts drove sixty yards just running out the clock. I with all my heart believe they would have gotten in field goal range in that time if they so needed to. But heck you all look at it the way you wish. But IMHO nothing less than a touch down would have won the game......hind sight is always 20 / 20 and makes it so easy to second guess
  2. So let me get this straight, beings a pass play was called, failed, and resulted in a failed 41 yd feild goal........we should have ran the dang ball, should we have failed to pick up the 1st down, resulting in a missed field goal (I cannot assume this would be made either, beings the 41 yd FG was missed, which USUALLY are made in doors.) We would be reading a thread of why we didnt pass the dam ball and how the coaches have no faith in JP and he needs to be benched. So either way second guessing does us no good...... it is what it is
  3. I am just bewildered why RJ is always brought up in these threads. Last I checked he is not on the bills payroll, nor any other teams for that matter. Hashing over, rehashing over if this, should have this, would have that, and anything else, seems like a waste of time to me. I always love the comparisons of one QB to another..........Its like comparing apples to oranges...........unless they are playing for the same team, at the same time with the same team mates. Players in this day an age rotate from team to team......especially over a extended time span. If I look around the successful QB are surrounded by tallent. None of them do it on thier own........ Just think about it, when you hear these names, whom do you think of? D. Marino, J. Kelly, J. Montana. J. Elway, S. Young, B Farve, T. Aikman and the list can go on and on........... They all have one thing in common........it is called a supporting cast of "team mates."
  4. If Fairchild only had that offensive tallent to work with here! That would truely be awesome! Hopefully this off season this team can move in that direction!
  5. Ummm maybe, Seek treatment dude, or ahh, lay off the LSD which surely makes more sense.
  6. Let it be known that the "TEAM" is not happy with the way the offense has played. I would hope they wouldnt be. Why would a OL or DL hope to come to buffalo? Maybe they know that is the best place that gives them a chance to start. I believe that is most players dream is to start for a team in the NFL. So, we bring in some replacements, hope they are able to JELL and play as a unit....... and our offensive begins to play as we all hope they can!
  7. I know that has to be a JOKE. To say Manning is not good says a lot in its self I always thought the shot gun formation, was to allow the QB a little more time to see the DF develope......... Good thing JK never ran the shot gun formation, and handed the ball to TT.
  8. Thats what makes you you! You avoid the question.......because you have your "I hate JPL glasses on"
  9. I know the NON PASS PROTECTING OL Has anything to do with it. Darn, Jauron is just like the coaches of the past....... Cause he must be telling you something completely different than what he is telling the press.
  10. So, what is your version of "OKAY." Probably any body without the initials of "JPL" Give it a rest. Preseason, and practice is where it is left to evaluate the QB. Whether you like it or not, from every indication out of OBD JP is the starting QB. Why you might ask, "Because the coaching staff believes it is the "help around JP that is lacking." The last two games, give me no reason to believe otherwise..........Unless you say it is JP's fault for doing what is asked of him. Again, if it were TURN OVERS that were constantly costing the bills the games, I would say its JP. But it is not. You ought to be alittle open minded.........you world may not be so gloomy as you protray it to be
  11. Guess I wrong, but I always thought during rebuilding you always give your starting QB game experience. Isnt preseason the time to rotate through your players to evaluate whom should start? Like we all know this team is rebuilding, so let our young players get thier experience.........it should pay dividends next season. We seem to now know, what we need for our OL this coming off season.
  12. I dont recall anyone saying, "JP has no fault or hasnt made any mistakes." It seems to most are saying (including myself) JP is not ALL the problem. So, lets give up on him, start someone else.........instead of letting him get playing experience that can carry over till next season when hopefully he will have more help! Unless you forget there are 11 players on that field whom all have some type of assignment to fulfill........Now if JP was ALL WAYS costing us the game because of turn overs, I may agree with a change. But he is not. It is not his fault the coaching staff has no confidence in the OL pass protection. He cannot control the play calling, I am sure he is restricted on the audibles that he allowed to call. Am I protective........no! I just am able to look at the WHOLE picture as it presents its self. With that, I form an oppinion. Is it wrong, thats up to you. But I can guess with your FB savy I am.
  13. If I recall, Jauron just commented on the offense. He said something to the effect.... He is happy with JP, he is developing, yes still makes some mistakes, and he still believes he will be a great QB in the NFL. They just need to get him some help. Because of he does not believe the OL is doing its job in protection, (Now I always get into trouble for assuming,) he is speaking in reguards to the OL. while it would be nice to see some role outs, and a lot more passing plays, I have to wonder how long JP would survive with out being injured. Just some food for thought
  14. Look how good da raiders R. Gallery is doing There are so many 1st round bust......You just never know. So far I believe Marv and company have done well in choosing tallent........You have to choose who is the best prospect availible at "one" of the positions of need is availible. The WR......IMHO is at the bottom of that list.
  15. I really cant imagine any of the so called experts predicting bills to win.......
  16. at least their blaming the "OFFENSE" as a whole, not just JP like a lot of the posters here are.
  17. But you forgot one thing, this way the anti JP folks will probably get thier way..... JP would problably being injured and KNOCKED out instead of being benched. And then we would see one of the backups......
  18. So does "YES" mean start rest of the season and "NO" get rid of him OR "YES" Get rid of him and "NO" start rest of the season I think we need to have a poll on how many JP / QB polls we need
  19. Exactly, and use the #1 pick for a OL or DL pick!
  20. I dont believe anyone is saying JP is perfect, and has made no mistakes. While I AGREE with what you say with the exception of reading defenses. I just dont enough information on what limits the coaching staff has him as far as changing the plays. I believe, due to the fact of using the TE and RB to help block, he doesnt have a lot of options to check down to..... hopefully as the season goes on this version of the OL improve. .....Then this will change and we can get more screens and quick slants to help out.
  21. Nope, I thought this was a expansion team this year, Get a grip........It was in the 60's when I became a bills fan.......and have been every since. But as much as I wish they were better. I find lots better things to do than constantly badger the team........you ought to find a hobby like fishing or something, relax and enjoy. Not like your on the payroll or anything. And if you were, YOUR ARE FIRED
