  1. wow. yeah. Stallworth has been a pretty major disapointment everywhere he's played considering where he was picked. Better than Moss?? Moss, pre-Raiders fiasco, was arguably one of the best receivers in the history of football.
  2. That's a relief to me actually. Stallworth isn't very good. Moss would have been frightening on the Patriots. Let's hope that deal just never happens.
  3. as bad as we say Gandy was, there is little doubt that he was our best guard last season... That said, I doubt he comes back since he'll almost definitely be a backup and he may even be able to compete for a tackle job somewhere in the league, but not here
  4. I think most of those sacks attributed to Gandy were in the first half of the season when he was still playing left tackle. I don't remember him getting beat too much as a guard though I'm sure it happened a few times.
  5. It really started with Hutchison last year and now the salary cap situation is all screwy. Also it seems like these commentators are quick to notice that the guards haven't been to pro bowls, or aren't considered superstars (few guards are) yet- but they fail to notice that these guys are all between 26 and 28 and about to enter into the prime of their careers over the next 5 years. They don't blink at huge contracts for guys approaching (or on) the downside of their careers or guys that have one huge year, but then are totally stumped by teams forecasting who will be dominant in the next few years.
  6. yeah, I don't know if its really about a "number one guy" anymore - outside of the absolute elite backs. I hope we pick him up - if we're bringing him in we must think that we can afford to sign him, no?
  7. he seems to get praised a lot in the media even though he really didn't play well. Unlike Gallery though he actually looks like he could become a good player. Gallery looks like Dylan McFarland out there.
  8. hard to say what the direction is there at this point. I tend to think that Shaud can't really fill A-Train's role though as a serious guy to take major carries in a game. Shaud and A-Train are pretty close to polar opposites as far as backs go
  9. I think he's a very good player, but I think the price is too high for a team that needs as many 1st day picks as we can get
  10. well seeing as we have the exact same DEs this year as last year, he'll probably be used pretty much in exactly the same way.
  11. haven't heard anything about Shaud. I don't really care either way for him. He's always on the fringe of making the team anyway. As far as Shelton, no big surprise, I hope we try and land Mughelli from the Ravens.
  12. I think you'll regret it - you've sat through years of hyped garbage and now we finally have a good young quarterback and a team that is actually growing from within (as good teams do) and becoming a real threat - but you're scared off by "cash to the cap"? If the Bills had just done that without telling anybody, probably no one would have even noticed. As for the rest - who gives a crap about McGahee? People get traded all the time.
  13. I could see that working seriously though, who could stop a guy that fired up when the end zone is right there?!
  14. Hargrove actually did see a lot of time at DT last season. However this was pretty much exclusively on passing downs as a pass rush DT. Our need at DT seems to be more of the run stopping variety. I hope we re-sign the guy.
  15. yeah, seriously, I think I only did that because its so ridiculous at this point with how much its been used.
  16. saw that - 22 seems fine when you have a crazy wingspan like Willis. It seems find pretty much of the other factors.
  17. probably just insurance just in case - I hope he isn't on the roster next year
  18. Brian Leonard its cool though - Calhoun was the RB from Wisconsin last year. You're right though, Leonard is having a great combine to follow up a great Senior Bowl. I did not think he would run as fast as he did.
  19. Anderson is not under contract, neither is Greer, Preston is still under contract.
