  1. Yeah - as if the republicans have done a real bang up job running this counrty Obviously, everyone who's not a right wing lunatic is an enemy of america and will get your relatives killed if you vote for them. Keep drinkin' the cool aid and watching Fox News. Whatever. People that defend obvious pieces of crap like racist Limbaugh lose all credibility in my book.
  2. agreed, Trey was following the usual Bills clueless offseason storyline; Smith was objective and realistic; and Floyd seems to be living in 2004 when Spikes was an all pro talent. Generally typical ESPN style coverage where big names are all that matter
  3. hosting MNF against Cowboys - you may have jumped the gun a little...
  4. I would say pretty good mock - I really like the Tanard Jackson pick in the 3rd, though I'd be pretty upset if we take a TE in round 2 and I'd probably have taken a different rb
  5. 3 rbs? With A-Train and Shaud/Jackson I think we probably only "need" 1, but could use 2. Also we only need 1 starting lb - Ellison was basically a starter last year and should be even better this year. Either a starting caliber SAM or the Middle need to be gotten with maybe another for depth at SAM. I'd be surprised by Hall because it basically means that they don't think Youboty is up for being a starter yet. I do think we'll bring in a first day corner though to compete for the job - but a first rounder basically would be expected to start right away.
  6. I would say they got another 3 technique guy to rotate with Triplett. They have McCargo and Williams as the one technique guys and Anderson is still around for now. Anderson isn't going to stay around though so I think bringing in another DT late who might be able to actually play may be a good idea. Also, yeah I don't buy the stuff about Lynch's bad character - though the gf thing obviously looks a little bit sketchy.
  7. DE just isn't a need. We've got Kelsay, Denney and Schobel locked up for a while. Carriker, as a DE, wouldn't make sense considering our needs at LB, RB, CB and maybe DT. DT, if not addressed in the 1st, I think will be addressed on the 2nd day - looking for a replacement for Anderson. Keith Jackson Jr. looks like a good fit to me.
  8. Jackie Battle - found these with a little searching around yesterday - I'm pretty impressed, the guy has some obvious speed at hitting the hole http://youtube.com/watch?v=cerLQKK7vg8
  9. that's actually not bad for a DT. They just don't get a whole lot of tackles.
  10. we don't actually have to use that pick to get a replacement to Spikes. BTW Ellison is a 6th rounder and he'll most likely be starting this year, and last year he was better than Spikes, imo.
  11. Well, I guess I'm in the opposite camp because I would love Peterson on the Bills. I think the injury prone stuff is overblown. Also though something up David Carr and "shoring up the QB position" just doesn't seem to mesh. Frye is probably just as accomplished as Carr. If anything it would just cause a QB controversy in Cleveland.
  12. they're truly terrible. Part of the problem is that they basically put them together during the college season and finish them up before the combine and then basically guess at all the basics (like heights, weights and 40s). Also the internet has moved so far past them in terms of draft coverage that they're actually just embarrassing.
  13. one thing that worries me is that he only put up 16 reps on the bench That's among the worst I've seen for a linebacker. He is very tall though which certainly makes it harder, but still...
  14. wouldn't hate it, but it seems a little overkill to spend two first rounders on linebacker when we really only need one starter and have other significant needs. Why not take Willis in the first and then grab a guy like Tim Shaw in the 3rd?
  15. I hope you're wrong...but I would dishonest if I said that I haven't thought about that scenario playing out
  16. good article - guy really seems to know what he's talking about (which seems pretty rare with draft "experts"). I would be pumped if AP fell to us. Since we're looking for a committee approach, the wear and tear on AP should be less than the Oklahoma strategy of having him being their entire offense. here's the direct link for those interested: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/news/index.ph...amp;ucat=2&
  17. Actually I think WR is considered the strongest position in the draft by many of the experts. I think you might be right and we might take a WR in the 2nd. Gonzales, though not a big guy, is a really good receiver.
  18. yeah, Irons scares me a bit because he's so light. I'd rather have a Pittman or Jackson in the 2nd or 3rd
  19. you couldn't buy a hole in the ground for 175k in DC. A one bedroom condo would be twice that price easily.
  20. I was at the game too. After the interception starting the second half we walked down to the endzone to chat with some friends and hung out there until Davis scored - I remember all these people throwing confetti and streamers to celebrate what seemed like could easily be our only touchdown. Once we recovered that onside kick and scored again I really felt like we were going to win. Greatest game ever.
  21. if he is the starter, I will have assumed that he won the job fair and square. I will think - good for him, he can play.
  22. This list looks like two people put it together - one who really knew what he was talking about, and another who was a complete idiot.
  23. yeah, it's also true that those old mocks were made before free agency hit and people didn't have the same needs at that point.
  24. Simply not true, I remember only only two or three months ago there were mock drafts that had him there for us in the second round. Most had him in the mid to late 20 range though.
  25. I want to be clear - I'm not saying Lynch won't be good, and I don't even really hate the idea of drafting him. I just think the fact that a similar back that came out of the same program just two years ago has been a total bust in the NFL and was also considered a late 1st, early 2nd pick (which Lynch was not all that long ago). I've watched some of the highlights and some of the posters were correct that Arrington is a more straight line runner than Lynch (though the highlights of him breaking really long runs - so that'll tend to happen), but there also were some plays that looked very much like the those in the Lynch youtube video which gets posted here every other day.
