  1. EDITOR'S NOTE: I only read the Patsy* thread cited here, but I was struck by how often they all refer to their "dynasty." It dawned on me that for all the time I spend listening and reading about the NFL, they are the ONLY ones who refer to the P*triots as a dynasty any more. Talking heads still suck their nuts, but you never hear them referred to as a "dynasty" by anyone who isn't a fan of theirs. Dynasties don't lose Superbowls. Green Bay of the 60s, Pitt of 70s, 49ers of 80s, Cowboys of 90s - none lost Superbowls.
  2. McCray was seemingly one of the few bright spots on Miami as far as making plays and effort- kind of a DT/DE tweener at around 285
  3. Notre Dame linebacker Joe Brockington (Harrisburg Patriot-News), Miami defensive tackle Teraz McCray (South Florida Sun-Sentinel), http://wgr550.com/Bills-stay-active-through-morning/2083069
  4. that's true - Keith Rivers destroyed him on at least one play. It's possible though that an adjustment in blocking technique could change that. Athletically he actually is better than people seem to give him credit for.
  5. anyone have a good site for news updates on UDFA signings?
  6. WR: DJ Hall, Darius Renaud, one of those Hawaii receivers OG: Drew Radovic, Robert Felton, Kerry Brown DT: Keilen Dykes
  7. very possible, not sure who's left though. Hopefully not Morelli or Kyle Wright, they're terrible.
  8. Omon! those were some sick highlights - guy made the first guy miss every time, often in the backfield - can tell he loves carrying the football
  9. Nua, Mace, Corto, Costanzo, Fox hard to say for sure because some of these guys still have practice squad eligibility Youboty is in danger - he needs to come in strong and show that he knows what he's doing out there
  10. they might like some guys, but know they'll be available in the rookie FA pool. We also have 3 7th rounders coming up.
  11. Justice, Sullivan still available at center Kerry Brown, Radovich, Kirk Barton still there at guard WR - DJ Hall, Darius Raynaud, Marcus Monk, among others
  12. draft so far 1) - top corner in the draft 2) - giant WR with great speed for his size - major red zone headache for defenses 3) - pass rushing defensive end - plays viciously 4) - ball hawking corner 4) - safe TE pick - good blocker, great hands - should be an excellent checkdown man 5) - undersized linebacker who flies around like a maniac and is good in coverage - instant ST's contributor
  13. Haggan replacement with more potential to cover people down the line. Seems like a wild man.
  14. weird pick - seems like a H-back, which we supposedly aren't using anymore and already have Schouman. Could he be a full time FB?
  15. argument about Patriots on NFLN reveals truth that whatever the Pats do is right, and they go from there
  16. I'd be happy with Sullivan, Schmitt, Scheuning (or whatever interior OL they like better), DJ Hall
  17. not sure how you came up with that number (unless you're counting this year, and then it's still only 5). Also our safety depth isn't really the problem, it's corner depth. But even including safeties we still have only picked 3 since 2006 not counting this current draft, in the first 4 rounds 2006 - Whitner, Simpson, Youboty 2007 - no one and by the way, 2005 in the first 4 rounds? No one; 2004? No one; 2003? Terrance McGee, starter
