  1. other situation is when they can win it with a FG and can kill the whole clock in the process.
  2. in all seriousness we'll bring up Gaddis, but we still need another guy
  3. i would say pretty bad. that guys not a rookie either - he's bounced around a few practice squads already.
  4. Stanley Daniels, Guard, currently on Green Bay's practice squad.
  5. how can you let them score when they need a touchdown? If you hold them you win the game right there.
  6. I think it all depends who we bring in next year to run the offense. Jackson is better all around, but you need at least two backs in this league.
  7. well hopefully he'll be better by preseason
  8. roscoe should never return another punt for this team.
  9. well at least it seems like Kyle Williams will be back.
  10. I don't have the highest end turntable, though it is new, and I still often find the sound superior than cds. One in particular - Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life - the vinyl is so superior to the cd that I can't even listen to the album on cd anymore cause it sounds so flat in comparison.
  11. I prefer vinyl, but I have way more cds. I think vinyl both sounds better and I think that the work involved in it actually makes you more appreciative of the album - the differentiation between side 1 and side 2. I find I'm more engaged in the music.
  12. win or lose I want to see a new sense of purpose by the players - especially on offense. I think this game is very winnable as well. We've had a lot of success against the Jags in recent years. BTW, why do we seem to play them every year?
  13. huge arm - unlimited upside. Needs more games under his belt though.
  14. agree as well. I hope the changed tone makes a difference on Sundays.
  15. Belichick got to 0 superbowls without a GM. Unless you don't count Pioli as a GM. the general trend is that the team is already dominant when the head coach takes over GM duties, at which point the team begins to decline over the next few seasons.
  16. I don't think you can even really guess until you know who is running the defense. He's an offensive coach.
  17. I think this is the first post you've written that I actually largely agree with you. the track record is very bad for HC/GMs and that's what the big fish want, and probably the only thing that could get them here. that said I'd be excited if we got Shanahan or Cowher and would just have to hope for the best on the GM side.
  18. Shanahan's track record with personnel is a lot more successful on the offensive side of the ball, so that's where I'd look for the biggest changes - but on that side we're so young anyway. In Denver (in the later years) he brought in a lot of terrible defensive FAs (mostly from the Browns) and their D was horrific.
  19. he's certainly better than Jamarcus Russell
  20. I'm supportive of any move that brings more competition to the QB position.
  21. I wonder if Edwards is headed for IR
  22. just thought I'd point out that Ed Reed's career high for INT's in a season is 9 - and Byrd still has 7 games to play.
