I'd argue that if Durham has any indictments that can be filed he should do so with no regard to the calendar and election. Of course it also doesn't fit the narrative when decades of Democrat leadership running a big city with hopeless fiscal issues and areas of very high violent crime and illegal drug activity endures. Certainly it doesn't fit today's narratives when the criminal activity is highly concentrated within and among communities of color. This doesn't get fixed until city leadership can admit to and face the problems head on and the people (the bad ones) fix themselves or mostly go away. Really, being the Mayor of Chicago is a horrible job. Who would even want it? That would be just slightly above average.

The police knocked apparently, so Sir Charles seems wrong on that. According to KY AG the police knocked, announced, they entered, they were shot at, they shot back. Now it's possible that Breonna and her boyfriend didn't hear the knock and/or the voice identifying as police. That could have led to the boyfriend shooting for what he/they thought was a home invasion. If not he shot at police knowingly. I don't think we know which yet. It is terrible that this happened.

We know some that have behaved similarly and they are not at risk people at all.
