  1. No mention of a woman in the car?
  2. Well if you read the article, he states that it was just a lapse in judgement. No big deal. Just pull the damn car into the garage at home, close the garage door and walk inside. No harm no foul. Maybe he lost a bet.
  3. John DiGiorgio is the closest thing we have to Papale. Mabe he makes a big ST play.
  4. For now, Willis's goals and that of the team are aligned. He needs a big year to position himself for a new contract and to regain the positive public sentiment that existed after he recovered from his injury and had some big games in '04. A good performance this year is critical for the Bills' success and his personal cause as well. Both need him to play well. Publically he needs some positive publicity beyond him blowing his own horn. This year, with a good start, Willis will be known as Bill McGahee. Buffalo Bill McGahee. The media and fans will jump all over this and the catchy nickname will give Willis (Buffalo Bill) a stronger bond with the city and the team. Chris Berman will be all over it. Momentum will follow. So give the damn ball to Buffalo Bill!
  5. "High motor" is what we say about guys that try hard and lack some talent. When the whistle blows, take a look at the few guys that are still runing around on a given play. Those are the high motor guys, trying to catch up.
  6. Hey, I work with a guy named "Jim Shoe". No kidding.
  7. Seems to be a feeling on this thread that Nall is #2. At the moment he's #3.
  8. That was his bachelor pad on the west side. His home was in East Amherst.
  9. Agreed. I would expect the current front office and coaching staff to look closely at Nate's performance for several games (at least) before they engage in any contract talks.
  10. Yes, he's expecting the Bills to go deep into the playoffs.
  11. As someone in Chicago that watched Thomas transfom into a lazy under performer, I can understand why people aren't sold on him as a Bill. Maybe he has some fire in his belly and can regain the old form and make a contribution.
  12. Well he might be the #2 QB on this team.
  13. Yeah, the Jags need to ammortize that signing bonus for another year. Or is it the Bucs?
  14. Don't be shocked if NE grabs Wilson.
  15. Gates is probably signed by another team already.
  16. Yes. Steve Young was a scrambling QB. He made good decisions in the pocket and avoided the rush with short rollouts or similar quick moves. Didn't run around back there and get sacked much. But, when it was time to tuck it away and run, he was spectacular. Unfortunately it shortened his career.
  17. Absoltely. The motivation just keeps piling up. Keep it coming.
  18. Absolutely. Back when the Chicago Bulls were winning championships with Jordan, Pippen and Rodman - they cut all their picks. Even the first round pick.
  19. You might be right. Where has he been the past couple games?
  20. We need to get on board here. Let's assume Willis will make some great highlights throughout the year. Chris Berman will be searching for a good nick-name for Willis. The suggestion, "Buffalo Bill McGahee" will be communicated to ESPN. Let's hope they pick up on it. It'll give Willis a Buffalo identity that he sorely needs. If it catches on, it'll create a tighter bond between Willis and the Buffalo community. Create a little loyalty once the media and fans catch on. Create awareness in and outside of Buffalo. He hasn't exactly embraced the town thus far. Willis will be flattered. He'll want to stay. The Bills will want to give him that contract extension. His crazy agent will advise Willis to stay in Buffalo. He'll get Willis a good deal. The fans love him. As fans We'll all be screaming, "give the ball to Buffalo Bill"! So for me and many of you, he is no longer Willis. He's Buffalo Bill. Let it start here. Let it spread far and wide. Come on, get on board!
  21. Would like to see Sam Aiken in there from time to time.
  22. EMSF = Eat matches and shyt fire!
  23. BBM = Buffalo Bill McGahee
  24. Willis is so committed to this season and a long career in Buffalo, we can nick-name him "Bill" McGahee. Buffalo Bill McGahee or BBM for short.
  25. JP has a 90.4 passer rating through 4 games. That's #1 among opening day starters for the preseason. Not bad. http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFL/PRAT/2006/pre
