  1. Disagree. I felt Donahue did a great job of analyzing what happened on most plays and found a number of genuine positive things to say about players on both teams. When he did criticize, he did so without sounding condescending.
  2. Bears might be the best team in football right now. Bears front 7 on defense are fast and nasty. A stiff test next week. For both teams it'll be a little like looking in the mirror for game prep. Same defensive scheme and QBs with very similar ability. Bills should know what to expect from them on both sides of the ball, but probably don't have the talent yet to match up.
  3. So you're evaluating him on 1 play or 1 game? If that is the standard for evaluating players then the entire NFL sucks. If I were to evaluate you from 1 post then I would say that you suck as well.
  4. Not decalring him a star yet, but he might be on his way.
  5. Nice game by Bill McGahee today. Didn't have much running room and got some tough yards including the TD.
  6. The improvement in leadership, gamesmanship, field presence, throwing accuracy, timing, judgement and confidence since last year cannot be denied. That was a good defense out there today that pressured him often. If the improvement continues......
  7. Miami offense = 39 passes and 14 russing attempts. Nice balance.
  8. Plus Bill McGahee says Bryant put's the "P" in party.
  9. I agree that depth at the position is thin or at least unproven. Since when does playing at a DII school and being a free agent mean you can't or shouldn't play. He's been through a training camp and preseason like any other rookie. At this point, only his performance matters to the coaches. They might thinks he's capable of stepping in.

  11. And I'll bet he's a "high motor" guy.
  12. I think I understand what you are saying. Miami needs to acquire gadget players in order for MM's offense to succeed. On the O-line he'll need guys like Conrad Dobler who had some gadget blocking tactics that seemed to work.
  13. Come on, you're joking. Our country and NYS would be better off if they both just disappeared. And I'm sure the well behaved Bills fans at the game will make a great impression on her, and unfortunately for now, her impression of Buffalo matters. Let's hope the home team puts on a great show.
  14. I just can't vote without viewing them head to toe.
  15. Completely agree. JP, IMO which means nothing to most of you, is a star in the making if he has a decent supporting cast. Yes, a star. You're starting to see a little "damn the torpedos" attitude in him along with the athletic ability, better decision making and confidence. With a young team on offense, there is a nice opportunity for good chemistry to develop if they keep the important parts together and add a couple. If he can convert just a few rough plays per game to successful plays, he's a different player and the Bills are a potent offense. And maybe the best sign that he is on his way is the way in which he stands up and admit errors and commits himself to correcting them. That's leadership.
  16. After all of these years that is funny!
  17. Tampa, or is it Jacksonville just traded Mike Williams to Dallas for TO. Both players plan to spend the off season together in a suppport group led by Dr. Phil and Jenny Craig.
  18. With all the complaining that happens on this board about TO getting too much attention from the media, this topic shows you exactly why. 9 pages and counting of crap about this guy. Who cares what he does? Everybody loves the contoversy and look at all of you that flock to it - just like what is written and said about this guy on TV and in the papers. I have now joined the rest of you losers that follow everything that jerk does. How about some Bills talk here?
  19. Darn right. The Vikings are a good team. Beatable, but the Bills will have to play well on both sides of the ball to win. Hopefully Spikes is back.
  20. He had to be in it only for the money from the get go. He didn't really think he was going to AZ to win playoff games did he?
  21. Might be a good idea, but you need players that can play low in short yardage situations. Peters might be a bit tall for that. Willis does not run low well or through small seams as well as some backs IMO.
  22. Well if the engineers are brilliant, then some should be able to identify an opportunity and capitalize on it (by starting a business).
  23. That comment makes a lot of sense if you understand it.
  24. Yeah, he made a big error on the block. No different than a QB throwing a bad pick or a defender missing a critical tackle. It happens. Willis was a stand up guy in his post game comments and admitted the blocking mistake. You have to believe the coaches will have him work on bocking and that he'll make the effort to correct it, and that is exactly what you would hope for from a good young player.
