Yes. I think Parcells said it best a couple years ago when the Cowboys had no quarterback (yes I know they still don't have one) and when a member of the media asked him a question like - So Bill, this teams needs a quarterback, do you have plans to bring somebody in? Parcell's reply was something like - Well it sure would be easy if we could dial 1- 800 - quarterback and get one, but it doesn't work that way. Yes the Bills need some players and it won't happen this year. Hard to understand why so many people on this board are so surprised and disappointed with the Bills this year. They're playing about how the roster looks. Young, inexperienced and in some cases not very good. I for one will not get worked up about wins and losses for the rest of the year, but will watch the young guys closely and look for improvement along the way.

You might be right, but since this board is mostly fiction, this story fits in well.

There are a lot of defenses in the NFL making a lot of quarterbacks look bad from one week to the next. Even veteran QBs. Bills are losing as a team with plenty of blame to be shared. That includes the coaches. They got schooled by New England on Sunday. Especially on the first couple possessions where New England threw a big mix of plays at the Bills and Buffalo's defense was a step behind on almost every play.

I doubt this is anything but wild speculation on his part. Benching JP now would be a mistake IMO. There are a lot of young players on the team that need experience. Let them play.

Statistically Atlanta is #1 in the league in rushing offense, last in passing offense but in the upper third of the league in total offense. Bottom third in scoring. Sounds like their red zone offense isn't very good and for what little passing Vick has done, his rating (66) stinks. Sounds like a QB and team that can't finish drives. He might be dangerous between the 20's but not a good drive finisher? Maybe it's a bad system, but the coach might not have confidence in the QB. Vick should keep his mouth shut and worry about his own passing performance.

Steve Young is of significantly higher intellect and character compared to Vick. I doubt many would arue that unless of course you're looking for an argument.

Ridiculous outcome. The Dolphins at 13? I've spent some time in Southeast Florida and their fans are anything but loyal. It's a transient culture of low morality and their stadium has a lot of empty seats throughout the course of the season. Chicago should be near the top. The town is Bears crazy even when they aren't a good team. Bears talk dominates the radio, news and all of the papers. Very passionate fans.

There is a lot of negative sentiment toward the Patriots among Bills fans on this board. Seems as though many here want to jump all over them anytime they say anything about Buffalo good or otherwise. Yeah, I hope the Bills can beat the snot out of them Sunday, but how can you not respect the Patriots for what the've done over the past several years? They've had a lot of player turnover during this time, coaching turnover and injuries. Through all of it they have stayed in the upper echelon of the league. Bill B is about as bland a coach publically as you'll find and the players are mostly humble and play smart. Until somebody in the AFC East knocks them out of the top spot, they are the class of the field and deserve the respect they get. That's a great orgaization there.

Yup. It would be better if people identified their venting posts as just that - venting. That way it would be easier for readers to know the difference between a venting post and a post consisting of total B.S. written by someone who actually believes the crap that they write has substance or is of interest to others. Although I have to admit the really awful stuff is sometimes funny. Keeps you coming back like a good tee shot.
