I doubt he'll be cleared by doctors to play in a month. Broken ribs have to be fully healed to avoid risk of a serious injury. 4 weeks probably not enough for that. We'll see.
He could be back toward the end of the season and having missed a lot of playing time and having played behind a lousy offensive line for this year, he will enter next season again as a question mark for this team. We get to debate his value all over again in the offseason.
Maybe the Bills can use their new found tendancy to run left to their advantage. Throw in a few fakes in that direction with roll out to the right. Should be able to hit a tight end or receiver over there or even let JP keep it.
I like the sound of that too. Speaking of running, lack of a good running game IMO is a far greater problem than the QB play. A-Train was effective later in the game, but overall this year, the running game has been weak. Gotta move the chains on the ground more. Can't keep running left only either.
Not at all. If I weren't faithful, I would have given up on the bills 12 years ago when I moved to Chicago. I think the Bills will get to 11-5, but not this year and I'm willing to hang in there for a while.
Tupa, absolutely because he was a good punter and a threat to pass every time he kicked.
I like Favre for #1 all time. Made the most out of less than many of the other guys. I also like Steve Young to be high on the list. Montana was in his way and Steve was better IMO.
Who cares? Is there a Bills connection here somewhwere or is it just a slow week for Bills news? I'd liken this to Chris Rocks's mom screaming discrimination for not being promptly served at a Cracker barrel. Like I said. Who gives a rats butt about this or that.
Yes, but the Bills should be well prepared for this game and they're home and rested. O-line is huge question mark. There's your ball game right there.
There are so many problems with the Bills offense it's not possible IMO to say he's not cutting it. He's caught about everything thrown his way. He's been open and overthrown. He's been open and not thrown to, and he hasn't been open at times. O-line not consistantly giving the QB time. #2 receivers and tight ends and backs don't seem to be big threats in this offense so Lee is going to see extra coverage rolled to him. Remember when Andre Reed was #1 he had Lofton, Pete M. and Thurman as other receiving threats. Yeah, Pete M caught a lot of balls. If you're defending the Bills and you can blanket Lee Evans, stack against the run - what threat is left? Tight ends not seeing much as they're usually called upon to block. To me this all goes back to the offensive line and your ability to protect on passing plays and still block well enough in the run game to pick up yards even when the defense is expecting you to run. Good teams do that.
Yeah, the Bears will steamroll the Dolphins. If Buffalo got 6 sacks against the Dolphins, Bears could hit double digits, although Harrington doesn't look to hold the ball as long as Culpepper.
Dick Jauron, Marv Levy, JP, Willis, Peerless, Reyes, Fowler, Triplett, McCargo, Spikes, McGee, Clements, Whitner, Tampa 2 defense, Paris Hilton?
Who are the tricks and who are the treats?
No, great players should play and always play great. Good players on the bench and the rest cut. Now if we could only find all great and good players for the Bills.
