  1. Expect that once the facts are known that the shooter was not a total stranger to him, not just a random act.
  2. All of this critism is comical. I'd say from Ralph's public statements all year show he has a good grasp of where the team stands. They plugged a few holes this year and he sounds committed to upgrading the team's talent for next year. If they don't make moves to address the O-line, D-line, linebackers, RB, WR and CB in the offseason - you can be critical then. No way you could fix this team in 1 year or even 2 for that matter. Ralph's already apologized publically for the TD era, and yes, he's ultimately responsible for the poor record the past 10 years. The Redskins and other teams have shown overwhelmingly that you can't just buy a playoff team, and you can't just dial 1-800-LINEMAN and get what you need. It'll be more than 6 months before the training camp roster is even set. Let's move on.
  3. Drew Rosenhaus is his agent. He's as good as gone.
  4. I doubt any team would give a #1 for Willis.
  5. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20061...?tbd1004494.asp Rosenhaus setting the stage for renegotiation, holdout. Unless he's turned over a new leaf, this could be ugly. Allen Wilson starts the article with a statement that Willis has been one of the top backs in the league. Who is he crappin'?
  6. Boone might be the widebody run stopper the Bills could use.
  7. I do find some satisfaction in the fact that the Redskins are the highest revenue team and most likely have the highest paid coaching staff plus they pay out big bucks each off season for free agents only to underachieve in a mediocre division.
  8. Give him another off season to get healthy and see what you have next year in training camp. You know the guy is very determined and it's tough to replace a guy of his pre-injury cliber if he can regain that form. Ellison does not look yet to me like a starting caliber player, but certainly looks good in comparison to the expectations for him this year which were low. He's not strong at the point of attack. Get's blocked in the run game easily so far.
  9. Ah, we have 8 months of this crap to read and write until opening day of '07. Let the silly season begin!
  10. Well there you have it. Now let's end this debate.
  11. Oh really?
  12. Not a chance. Bills agreed not to do that. It'll take huge money to keep him as there are always teams will to overspend for good players and even bad players. Nate being a good one.
  13. I've got news for you. Race car drivers are definitely athletes. No they don't run, block or tackle but the physical and mental demands are huge. As someone that has done this for 18 years in a some very demanding forms of that sport, I can tell you it takes incredible stamina, reflexes, split second decisions, coordination and mental focus. Really, unless you've done it, you have no idea. In many forms of racing, there are no whistles or timeouts. You never relax sometimes for periods of hours. Studies have shown that Motocross is the most demanding physical sport of all. I'd bet the ranch that if you asked Joe Gibbs if race car drivers are athletes he'd give you a great answer as to why they are. Only people to have never been involved would argue otherwise.
  14. Perfect. Let's see how Mr. Young handles weather like this. Let's see if Travis can hang on to the ball.
  15. Damn it was cold that day. The Raiders were doing jumping jacks during commercial breaks. My 5.5 months pregnant wife was with me dressed in my very large brother in law's snowmobile suit. What a game. Wasn't the score more lopsided than that?
  16. First time I've heard that one!
  17. OK, but will you be back after a loss to take your lumps?
  18. In reading the whole article, I think Vick is under heavy scrutiny more because: A. He is physically gifted and he can flat-out make plays most QBs can't. B. The expectations for him coming into the NFL were huge. C. Some of his off the field behavior has raised eyebrows. D. He is paid a ton of money. This year he has met those expectations running the ball and has better passing numbers than in past years. Just maybe the rest of the Falcons team isn't that good.
  19. That's horrible.
  20. Let's hope Willis can match Henry's emotion. I think Travis will be on fire Sunday. Bills "D" better be ready.
  21. Now that's an idea! Turn the TVs off when the visiting team has the ball.
  22. Clearly the Sabres are in a slump with only 50+ games to recover.
  23. No, you're right on target!
