  1. Replacing his yardage shouldn't be tough, but improving on it has to be the goal.
  2. My point is this......If he received the money and said nothing until the Eagles came knocking on his door, he's an idiot. Sure, both parties look bad but one is a mistake and the other appears to be a conscious effort not to correct it. If he knew it was an error could he really think that it would go unnoticed and that he could keep the dough? That makes him a jackass (actually much worse) in my book.
  3. That's a typical attitude in this country. If there's a mistake and it benefits me, I don't address it. However, if the mistake hurts me, I complain like there's no tomorrow. If Westbrook cashed 2 checks when he was due 1, he's a jackass. Even worse if the Eagles have asked him to repay it and they have to file a grievance to get it corrected. Goodell should suspend him.
  4. If he drinks Dom it's likely for show. He's an ass no matter what he drinks or does. I spoke to a player agent yesterday and he told me he was completely in favor with the new commissioner handing out severe penalties for conduct detrimental to the image of the league.
  5. I get the feeling from reading your posts that you think Whitner was not worthy of the 8th pick. Did you miss the part above where Whitner said that both Detroit and AZ who picked after the Bills showed strong interest? Do you think that just maybe Marv and co. knew which teams might pick him if they didn't and concluded that if there was a deal to trade down (and I stress if) that maybe he would have been gone? Maybe Whitner is really the guy they wanted more than the alternatives? Maybe those that get paid to do this for a living had more information than you and I at the time. Just maybe they know better than we do.
  6. I don't care where a guy is picked. If he starts as a rookie, plays well and looks lke a starter for years to come, then he's a great pick.
  7. Rian Lindell. Watch out for the quiet ones.
  8. Fantastic. This should send a message. A much needed message.
  9. OJ no longer relevant. Even in football terms. Sad but true.
  10. I watched the segment an have to totally disagree. He turned to pot and then Yoga to manage stress. I don't think he can handle the pressure of being a feature back in the NFL over any sustained period of time. He needs to play football for money which is a good motivator but I see him as being a very big risk as a number 1 back. Marshall Faulk on the set of the show was very quiet when it was suggested that Ricky cold make a good comeback. He did not offer any comment to support it.
  11. Yes, it appears that news like this and other news about their team is broadcast over police scanners.
  12. Maybe somebody would give it a shot. He's everything the Bills don't want in terms of "Character". He's about the last guy in the league that the Bills would consider. He's just too wierd. It'll make a great book someday. From Ditka giving up his entire draft to acquire the pick to draft him only to have the guy quit on him in terms of effort to his meditating somewhere in the Himalayas or wherever to his witch doctor dope smoking habits. Somewhere in between he actually played football. Maybe he can have a chat with Willis about what it's like to play football in Toronto over a hand rolled joint.
  13. You took the bait. He also has the largest Amway network in California.
  14. They get paid to judge teams and players even when they can't yet be judged. The Bills new offensive line has yet to play a down and some of the players that will replace those that have departed are not yet on the roster. Of course all of the "expert" opinions will continue to flow up until the start of the season and thereafter. Of course we get to read all of the opinions of the experts on this board that have crystal balls as well. And I don't mean testacles.
  15. You'll know by the end of August.
  16. You must be joking.
  17. Agree. If it were me, I'd wait until draft day to do this deal or not unless the Bill's scouts think he is a can't miss player.
  18. Not to worry. The jet was busy yesterday as Ralgh had a dozen women flown in that are hiding out on Chippewa St. for a rendezvous with Mr. Turner this evening.
  19. Go get him!
  20. He has a high motor so he should be retained. That alone earns you some playing time on the Bills.
  21. But it isn't up to him if the Chargers want to trade him. Of course he could make the contract part difficult.
  22. I live in the town where she went to high school. Saw her play then. Even saw her workout one night with a trainer which included her putting on full hockey goalie equipment and taking shots for about 20 minutes. I assume this was reflex training cause it didn't have much to do with basketball. She comes from a good family, is a good student and she'll finish her degree at Tennessee. She's a great player, well spoken, attractive and has a heck of a career in front of her.
  23. Culpepper was called an elite QB 1 year ago and Nick Saban would escort his team to the Super Bowl!
