  1. Birds of a feather.... Both of them surrounded by a nice flock I'm sure.
  2. He's a rookie that isn't that good anyway (yet) and he doesn't know how to play in the cold.
  3. Right. Might be Tequila.
  4. Exactly. Check your cameras at the door.
  5. Hope you're right. He's a very good player. From his standpoint and his agent's, I can't think of a good reason for him top stay in Buffalo other than $$. The timing for him to have the frustrating year that he had last year was not good given when you consider he's getting closer to free agency. Personally I think he'll get tagged when the time comes.
  6. He'll be a bust in any offense captained by DJ with TE as his first mate.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised to see the bills deploy 4 tight ends in their offense. Dick and Trent don't like to risk down the field passing. The more players on the field that can catch the 3 yard pass - the better. Forget Lee Evans. The Bills don't need him and he's gonna want a lot of money anyway.
  8. Could add Moorman, Parrish (as a punt returner) and Lyndell to the list of those that are playing at a high level.
  9. It would be easier to list the players who don't need to step up (improve). In other words, which players would satisfy their coaches if they performed similarly to last year? I'm no coach, but I can only think of a few. They would be Lee Evans (can't blame him for less production given the QB debacle of last year), Jason Peters, Maybe Langston Walker and Dockery (seemed like they both played well), Aaron Schobel (maybe).; Everyone else and every other position IMO needs measurable improvement. Some players look to be on that path, several others are questions. I'd add that the coaching staff needs to srep up and startds with Dicky boy losing the Mr. Rogers routine.
  10. What makes him the best on the Bills? What's he done? Had a few bright spots in a couple of games and his play tailed off as the year went on as other teams had some tape on him and game planned for him. He might grow into being a good NFL QB, but he's proved about nothing yet. He's 2 full seasons away from any meaningful evaluation. JP proved that having 1 good full season isn't enough for the Bills front office. Trent has yet to do that or even half a good season yet. Sure, he's only had a limited opportunity, but until he actually does it for a sustained period of time, he's a huge question mark for this team.
  11. You're right. I've become very cynical since about halfway through last season. A lifelong bills fan, living in Chicago for the past 14 years now and watching "DIck Jauron Act II" is painful. I'm clearly in a slump. Need something or someone to pull me out of it.
  12. As long as Dicky J is the head coach, expect mediocrity or less on offense.
  13. It's good starters the Bills need. Don't know about Poz yet, Crowell is really average and Mitchell has yet to play a down for the Bills. This group has a lot to prove this year.
  14. I'm more concerned that the Bills organization has the know-how to get any QB to play at a high level. They'd f^ck up Brady IMO.
  15. Don't underestimate the influence that tricky Dicky has on this offense.
  16. Jauron is so frickin risk averse, I wouldn't be surprised if he started wearing full body condoms on gameday.
  17. With all the money WR's are getting paid and the Bills need at that position, I can believe that.
  18. Why prolong the agony. Call for his head now.
  19. Ever hear him interviewed? He's an arrogant S.O.B. Very aloof. Good player, but doesn't display publically the kind of attitude you'd like to see. This is not the first time he hasn't shown up for the workouts. Same shyt, different year.
  20. While I've heard that Walsh liked Edwards, I have never heard or read that he compares Edwards to Joe Montana.
  21. I don't think so. How about Marc Bulger.
  22. I'd like to see Trent as a backup too. Trent Edwards.
  23. There isn't a better WR prospect on the globe for this team than Matt Jones. First, he won't cost a lot of money, second he is very tall and can catch the 3 yard pass and third - by obtaining a player like Jones, Jauron can rest easier knowing he doesn't have to take unnecessary risks having players on his offense that are expected or want to make the big plays. Matt is another player that can support the "let's play it safe fellas" approach.
  24. Trent Edwards as the starting QB with expectations that he can carry a team to the playoffs deploying an offensive approach that Dick Jauron supports. That's a crazy idea, but one that is likely to be attempted.
