If the Bills don't take advantage of his strength and his numbers diminish from '06, rest assured there will be a few teams out there who want a deep threat on their team. He only signs with the Bills if the money is right IMO. Otherwise, I think he plays to become a free agent and cash in somewhere else.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Aiken have a productive year for them. Still scratching my head as to why he didn't get a shot in games for the Bills.
How about Jauron/new head coach? That's one that should pick up steam as we get into the season. Never too soon to look at who the next coach should be.
Ralph has no time to be patient and Dicky boy won't have excuses. He has his own hand picked offensive coordinator, picked from all of the possible candidates throughout the country. He has selected the best. He has made the move to Trent his QB and the front office has upgraded his personnel significantly from the day he arrived. He is now a veteran head coach of nearly a decade and has more than 25 years of coaching experience including a previous run as head coach with the Bears. During his time with the Bears, he was often criticized for being too conservative and too loyal to under performing coaches and players, "his guys". He has now learned that lesson and the Bills will benefit from that experience. He coached the game conservatively last year in order to protect a young and inexperienced team, but he knows the difference. With the better talent he is set to unleash game plans that will pressure and challenge the opposition. He'll teach this team to take it to the opponent early in games and put them away. The Bills will play with the lead and also be a team that can come from behind and win. He'll devise game plans that make it tough for the other team to succeed. Most weeks this year, Jauron will be facing head coaches with less experience than he has and he will often "outcoach" these younger inexperienced coaches. He'll make excellent in-game decisions. He'll be able to bring out in his players a high level of emotion each week such that the intensity of the Bills will be hard for the opposition to match. He himself was hand picked by a Hall of Fame coach to coach the Bills.

The Bills have yet to sign UDFA's and have some young lineman on the team that are being developed. Possibly the front office has confidence in the abilities of the existing lineman and chose to focus the draft in other areas. Possibly they have a few UDFA lineman targeted and will pull the trigger on them quickly.
I'd say that's about right. None of these picks have yet to play down for the Bills. How can they be questioned? The scouting department has a bit more info than we do on these guys. We have no idea how these new players will perform. Look back about 2 years from now and you can then make some evaluation. 3 years would be an even better timeframe. Go back and look at the '05 and '06 drafts today and you can get a sense that one was much better than the other.
F-that. The Giants went after the guy in the Sperbowl and created a lot of problems for the Pats offense. That's the blueprint now for beating them. You can take the cover-2 and file it against them. Rush the QB with 5-6 guys and hit the damn receivers.
Assuming Hardy is effective, you have to like the matchup problems that Evans, Hardy and Parrish can cause for a defense. Each has a different style and strengths. Hopefully the coaches and QB can find ways to use them and turn that into yards and points. The front office has really re-tooled the team over the past 3 off-seasons. Now it's up to coaches and players to get something done.
