  1. That's the most truthful statement on this topic all day. Heck, dad will probably get $50K under the table from an agent like Rosenhaus.
  2. True unless you point it at someone who doesn't want it pointed at them.
  3. I agree, but if he got giddy even for a moment, it would have to be about a DB.
  4. It's motivating to see that ranking, but the Bills are definitely a "show me" team. They have a lot to prove to a lot of people in the next year or two.
  5. He's a good QB. Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone he played well.
  6. With a different QB and head coach, those numbers might be attainable in a year or two.
  7. He'd be a wonderful next door neighbor.
  8. Yup. Wonder if he can top that performance for the Bills in '08?
  9. Doesn't matter. He's a DB. This team needs more DBs.
  10. Interesting. NFL owner's agreement prohibits an owner from owning a majority stake in another major sports franchise.
  11. Associating Trent in any way with the ultra liberal John Edwards won't generate much support for the QB.
  12. Maybe Leon Joe and Mike Williams will be roomates during training camp.
  13. With some research we can expand the list by 50-fold I'm sure. The commish has a lot of job security given the behavior of so many NFL players.
  14. Well said. I'm sure that any QB that doesn't have success in Buffalo would be viewed league wide as a bust. The Bills have such a good track record in developing and evaluating QB talent.
  15. On a similar note I'm gonna mention Rob Royal. I think he's got some receiving skills and if the coaches can create opportunities for a tight end, he might be effective. I think the lack of Tight End production has more to do with the Bills using that player almost exclusively to block.
  16. We must be about the same age. Good stuff. Being a bills fan is a bit of a curse. It never leaves you, but we wouldn't want it any other way.
  17. A smart, hard-nosed and talented fullback with great leadership qualities would be a great addition to the Bills. We'll see if he can fill the void.
  18. It's a school night. Monday hangovers are lousy.
  19. That would only be possible if they were in their right mind at some point.
  20. And also the meat, potatoes and desert.
  21. The first line is true. What's also true is that the Bills upgraded the offensive line last season, added a talented RB and chose to start a rookie QB in most of the games. The end result, a franchise low 20 touchdowns scored and an offense that ranked close to last in the league. All this against a shedule featuring some really bad teams. With those results, how could anyone question the QB decision?
  22. Newspaper sales might rise if they published a "No Jerry" edition.
  23. I believe Tim Anderson was drafted to replace him.
  24. I look forward to a day when an UDFA has no chance of making the Bills. Like the '98 Bulls who never even bothered to negotiate with their #1 NBA draft choice that year. It'll be tougher for UDFA's to make the Bills this year. Fewer holes to plug thankfully.
