If Trump loses and refuses to leave
keepthefaith replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If I were Trump I'd never release them for the simple reason that I'd know the media would run wild with untruths and politically motivated judgements about the content. The media and his political opposition who are demanding his tax returns have earned the middle finger on this one. -
She's in way over her head. Murders and shootings are up over last year and trending to total about 700 (murders) for 2020. As a Dem she's basically powerless to do anything because more aggressive policing in the higher crime areas doesn't sell within the party. In Chicago and in Illinois, it's absolutely party first. https://heyjackass.com/

Or just go with a red skinned potato as a mascot and logo. Think of the new sponsor, Land O Lakes butter with the Indian on the package. -

Snyder can make heads explode if he announces that the team will adopt a new name to be determined by the highest corporate bidder. -

The NFL can play whatever music they want before or during games. What really rubs me the wrong way is how the NFL is pandering to the left. The league should simply tell the players that they are free to be involved in whatever social causes they want on their time, away from the job. The league which supports a variety of charitable causes should continue to do that and promote that as they wish, but the NFL IMO should not be allowing players to use game day or on the job interviews to further any social causes not adopted league wide. As for a secondary national anthem, it's just another example of divisive identity politics. I don't know how African Americans can find our national anthem offensive in any way. That makes no sense to me.

Disgusting but not surprising.

Care to take another swing at this? Steven Lopez the shooter, Tyler Gerth a classmate and acquaintance of my daughter at UK was murdered. He dated for 3 years one of my daughter's sorority sisters. He happens to be white not that it matters to me but I'm sure it's meaningful info to you. Good young man, supporting the Breonna Taylor protests. https://www.wkms.org/post/tyler-gerth-s-father-remembers-his-son-vigil-jefferson-square-park#stream/0

The final tab won't be tallied until 1/2025.

Well, I think we all know how that's going to work out.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Calling someone a racist is a very serious allegation in my view and if someone makes that allegation they'd better back it up. Obviously the KKK does not represent the whole of white people or even a measurable portion. The vast majority or white people don't want any association with that group and find the KKK as abhorrent as anyone. As for masks, once they became mandatory here in Illinois, I don't see anyone not following the rules, even those that I know are not happy about it and I don't find many making a big deal out of it. -
At the end of the day, it's the behavior of people on Chicago's south and west sides that has to change. Not the majority of people but the portion that are just horrible people. More police, less police, tighter and looser gun laws. All of these tactics have been tried with very little to show for it in terms of results. The bad need to be rooted out and removed along with their way of thinking. It starts with that. Problem is, almost 85% of the homicides in these areas go unpunished, no arrests are ever made. The murders know that their chances of being arrested are slim. Citizens that might have info to help solve crimes are afraid to talk. The police can't keep up with the workload of cases. It's almost a green light. Terrible.

Hey Joe, you are free to stay home and out of harm's way if you feel at risk. Exercise your freedom Joe to do as you choose. -

Disagree it's a drain. It's probably unpleasant for posters who have poorly supported positions on many things or are weakly principled. That's a lot of people in this country. A lot and a growing number IMO. -
