2009. RB CJ Spiller (behind an Allstar), DT Troup (has been hurt and it takes a wile for DT), DE Carrington (Playing lots this year), and LB's Batten and Moats (Splitting time). 2010. DL Dareus (Solid), CB Williams (been hurt but was learning and doing bettter), LB Sheppard (solid), OT Hairston (solid), S Searcy (we will see tomorrow). Based on my assesment I think we drafted fine. We are still learning what we have but I would not say bust on any of them. Spiller is the closest, but he is behind Freddie and getting very few carries.

As fans we are always trying to find someone to blame. The quick start shows that we have some talent. In recent weeks we have shown that we don't have the depth of the great teams. With Shawn Merriman and KW going down our defense doesn't have the depth to recover. Say what you will about Merriman, he was still someone teams had to pay attention to. Our D did not get a lot of sacks early, but we were getting after the QB. As I watch the games I see a difference in the amount of pressure we are getting on the QB. On "o" our line has been hurt. We had a Third String LT and a Second string LG in the game. Now we have 2nd string LT, LG and C. This is going to affect us. I still think this team can win some games this year, but it is not the team we started with. We need more depth. This team is moving in the right direction. It just takes time to pick up something that is broke and fix it to the point that people don't noticed it has been refurbished. This is just my 2 cents.

Yeah I think the games the way they played out had some to do with it. I think we will be tougher once KW comes back. I think him being away had helped Marcel

I wonder if the reason our "D" was so bad in giving up yards because of the teams we were playing. What team did we play that had a bad "O" Today was the first time we played a bad "O" and look at how good we looked. We are not as bad as some say we are, and we are not as good as we looked today. But we are better than we were last year.

1. OLB 2. D-Line 3. O-Line I would be ok with them drafting nothing else but these positions...

He has looked good in Baltimore running nothing but straight ahead. He is a one trick pony that will get lots of yards and look really good because of the makeup of there O. He would not do the same in the Bills Uni...they just dont have the same O. Bottom line he was not a CG guy! Has nothing to do with money.

Not sure about making the team hate him. I do think he is trying to get their attention

I see the switch at LT and LG as a way to light a fire under the butts of the players. AL was moved without knowing why. Now it comes out that AL is a lock for starting but it depends where. CG was geting AL's attention...now he is getting Bell's attention. I think the line will ultimately be what what it has been since the beginning of camp with Bell and AL at their respective spots.

I think they are trying to motivate Andy as well. To me this is good coaching.

Yeah but he is not just beating them, he is demolishing the opponent. They are even beating BCS teams.

First of all he has lost once so far in is college career. Second he copletes over 60% of his passes Third he has started three (If he stays healthy) full seasons of college football. Everyone wants to talk about Luck and Locker and the like, but this kids record and starts are far better than either of these guys. Urbik Played 50 games at right tackle in college. Well thats what Buddy Nix told me. He also told me he is an option for RT. I trust his word.

We lost so the sky is falling. Give the Coach a couple games to get to know what his team can do live. Remember the Colt Preseason game we all thought "oh crap" then they came back and played well. Give CG some time.

He looks to down. He looks defeated. He needs to wipe that smile off his face. No matter what Trent does people don't like him. He did some things well. He still has no line and had no running game. Why not call for Spiller to be cut because he can't do anything in the NFL.

I just like that he is not trying to say this is a good team. He is saying it is a work in progress. The other thing I like is that he is still doing some scouting. He will be looking at players during the week and traveling with the team on weekends.
