Listening to JP's responses online tells me he is at least being coached well. Think of how long it took Drew Brees to become a good QB in the NFL

Brady Quinn is going to be a career back. He is good in college but that doesn’t always translate into a great quarterback in the NFL.

At the beginning of the season we would have been happy for an 8-8 season. We all know the Bills are rebuilding. Why are we surprised by the lack of consistency they are showing. We all knew going into the season that the line was suspect at best. JP has shown some fight. He has shown some skill, and he has showed his youth. I like what I see out of JP. I think we have a quarterback for our future. Willis is our RB for the future. He still needs to learn how to block. We knew coming into this season that our defensive line was going to be a work in progress, and it is. It cracks me up that fans are so easily soured by the truth. We are not in the early 90’s anymore, but we are getting better at positions. If we can have an off season like last years. I give this team a good chance at making the playoffs next year. As for the rest of this year, let’s get this young team some experience. This year is a stepping stone to a bright future. GO BILLS

I agree. The bills more than competed today. They had the oppertunity to win. The coaching staff gambled and if WM made the first then we would all be singing DJ praise. DJ is a better coach than MM. I liked what I saw. They played as a team.

There is reason for optimism. They look better than what they did last year. JP is being helped by AVP and the other offensive coaching staff. JP will have his ups and downs. He did not transform in one year to be Joe Montana, but he is learning how to play within himself. That is what we have to be optimistic about. I just want a team that shows up every Sunday and plays hard this year. \

I agree. I think we had a good draft that filled some holes in our denfense, but I think this may be a bnig mistake. Who knows Leinert could be the next 1st Round QB bust

Can we ask for anyhting more!!!!!!! We have so many needs and we are knocking them out slowly. Marv is doing a great job The problem is to many people have thier pet people they wanted drafted.

Marv, DJ,TM have been in football a lot longer than I have, I trust their judgment as well. Not to mention the draft is a crapshoot anyway

I think Marv has five years and then passes the team off to someone he has groomed. I think Marv was brought here to bring stability with the fans and to build for the future. For me I give them both 2-3 years before you start to raking them over the coles. All I need to see is a future and some progress.
