I hear a lot of talk about Goodwin and his speed and he has been hit in stride a couple times on long bombs, but with TJ most that is thrown his way down the field is under thrown. Has anyone else noticed that?

This FO has turned over this roster in many ways. They have brought in middle of the road FA to fill holes. In some ways their first year they threw mud at the wall to see who would stick. Then they built from their. I have been in Seattle the whole time for their rebuilding. I have watched every game this year. I have read a lot about what is going at One Bills Drive and I just cant help but feel they are trying to do the same things. Flynn is not the reason I feel this way.

I live near Seattle and am a huge sports fan. I listen to the local sports talk station all the time. When Pete was hired as the coach and president and then hired Schneider(sp?)some people liked it and some people hated it. What they did when they first came in was make 70+ roster movers from the start of the year even into the season. They built a good "D" and tried to figure it out on offence. This team is trying to figure out what they have. They are trying to get the pieces together to make a winning team. I like what I see in terms of fight a d young talent. I am tired of losing but I also think this team is on the rise.

I don't disagree that the Seahawks got lucky with Wilson...But they had the defense to help with the growing process. They build their defense with free agents that that were middle of the rode players. Like I said earlier they drafted well and think they have their franchise qb. That is yet to be determined. But the bottom line is they went to the playoffs more in the last four years than we have. From the outside looking in they had a plan and executed that plan with some luck. We need the same!!!

See how Seattle turned it around. The new regime there is on their fourth year. The first three years they focused on the drat and getting good young talent. They got the best QB's they could in Free Agency without breaking the bank. They found their franchise QB so they think and then they went after what they thought were the missing pieces. I think NFL front offices need to pay attention to what Pete and John did. It was done quietly with no big splashes in free agency...

That is my thought. I think they are trying to make sure that they get the best QB they can either in the draft or for trade. I also think they know they are not one player away but need to get a lot of quality players not just a couple great or good players.

What connection do Fitz and Hackett have?

JW Thanks for starting this thread and giving your opinion. I often find myself looking for opinion pieces from informed individuals. I like to hear opinion and not just read facts, but I want informed opinion not someone who may cover the team or does some research. I want someone that is around and has history with the team. Thanks.

I love that people around here didn't want a retread but a fresh new starts. We get that very thing and it is a bad hire. I am not sure I like the hire but it is hard to judge till we see what he does with the the DC and OC. I like that he has more of a intensity to him. I like that he learned under Peyton. I like that he has been an OC and a O-linw coach. I like that he has been a HC even if it is in collage. I like that he is younger. I look at this like I did when the Seahawks hired PC. When we heard about this most people in Seattle were like "what" where did this come from. I would think that was the same thought in Baltimore and Atlanta when their coaches we hired. All I can really do is hope for the best and expect the worst...but I believe that would be the same with any coach that was hired.

In sports nothing is for sure. Everything is a crap shoot. You can stack the deck in your favor but the end result is still not sure. Think about Belicheat...if Bledsoe goes down and Brady is the 6th rounder he was projected to be I am not sure Belicheat is an all star coach. Its the whole Phil Jackson conversation in the NBA. It is easy to win when you have the best players on the team but does that mean he is a great coach???? These two guys are unknown commodities at this point, but they have coaching experience and could be good.

Wow we are not more talented than when DJ was here????? Really. I agree we need a qb and wr. I also agree we need LB's other than that I think we have talent. We have a strong D line and our o line is not good when healthy. I think one of the reasons for the red zone woes is the loss of David Nelson. He had great chemistry with Fitz. I don't think has the arm we need. I wouldn't be surprised if T-Jack battles with a draftee or two with Fitz for the starting job. I think the reason Chan went with Trent in the beginning because he practiced well but it didn't take long in game situations for Trent to be gone. If we all could do a better job than Buddy and Chan we need to change jobs because we could be making a whole lot more money.

When Chan and Buddy inherited this team it was a mess. There was very little talent. Buddy has done a good job getting talent and depth. We are not where we need to be yet but we are much better off from 3 years with Buddy than we were with any GM between Butler and Buddy. Now we are missing a couple pieces. We need to keep signing our home grown talent and get the franchise QB we need. In my opinion Chan has half of next year to show me that we are not going to keep this losing cycle. I don't think you change after this year. This is my 2 cents have fun telling me I am wrong.

I get tired of the losing as well. Believe me I get tired of watching losing sports teams. I am a Knicks, Met's, Bills and Sabres fan. When is the last time I got to celebrate of of my teams? I live near Seattle and like the Mariners and can't even celebrate that team. This season is still early. We are tied with the rest of the AFC East. I am going to enjoy this one.

This team is still learning how to play with each other in a new system on "D" and working through injuries on "O."

I am tired of people giving up on this team!!!! Was it pretty? No! But they won against a team that beat the PATS!!!! We can still do something this year.

Love how we have a 2-2 team and people around here think we are 0-16 with no talent!!

1. Chan has questioned the toughness of his team. This defense will show up today and stop the run. The secondary with take care of the SF receivers 2. Fred and CJ are going to run on this defense. 3. SJ is going to motivated the whole game to make plays 4. It is the NFL and anyone can win any Sunday if they limit their mistakes!!!! .

Remember there were no off-season workouts last year. Our O will have more wrinkles!!!!
