Saw some people bring his name up, given the Kromer connection.

Are or were? As Sal points out here, there's speculation that Dorsey wants to run more 12 personnel. If that's the case, then paying for two solid TEs makes sense.

Looks like we'll have to wait a few more years before we can sign Ertz

Edit! McKenzie is back on a 2 year deal worth 4.4 million

Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham

Yeah, he explained how there are multiple ways to protect Josh, one of which is an improved run game, as it would deter DEs from being able to just pin their ears back and rushing him. So that could be different personnel groupings (2 TEs), a premier RB, OL changes, or a combination of the 3. Swapping out slot WR doesn't impact that, unless it's a big bodied guy who can kinda block. -
Khalil Mack traded to Chargers for 2nd and 6th round picks

I disagree with the team's approach to rotating DL. Other teams are able to deploy their DEs/DTs at 75%+ snap rate - why can't we? It feels like when you do this, you either lose out because your premier players aren't playing as much as they could, and/or you need to pay higher quality rotational guys because you don't want a C-level player out there for significant number of snaps. -
Feel like taking Monday off, eh?

He seems to like those reclamation projects. Sometimes they pan out, other times they don't. So yeah, maybe this time around we sign 1 or 2 known commodities and backfill with a few draft picks, vs. signing a handful of guys who *could* turn their career around here. Trade-offs of the two: 1. You know what you're getting and pay a premium for it vs. 2. You don't fully know what you're getting and hoping it clicks in Buffalo, + paying a more reasonable $ amount. The former seems like the better decision during a clear SB window... but I'm also not a GM. Either way, I can't wait for FA to open. For YEARS the off-season was the best part of the entire season for me, and even though we're good now, I still look forward to it just as much. 😄

Nice thread. Free agent D Linemen do *not* appear to be Beane's strong suit. Let's hope if we do sign a DE/DT this off-season, we buck that trend. We can't afford to be signing duds at this point who suck up valuable cap space. And if we do sign those players, at least do it at the point in FA where they don't impact comp picks.

Can someone please find me a GM who's had a 5 year stint without a miss? -

Yeah, what? Give me the guy who'll likely make less $/yr and require no assets to acquire. -
Not far off you say? Team (former Pats): Chandler Jones JC Jackson Position (CB): JC Jackson Carlton Davis Casey Heyward Jr.

My guess is that Parrino's source is one side (team vs. player) and Skurski's source is the other. Now the question is, which is which? Which narrative benefits the Bills and which one benefits Feliciano?

So who's right?!
