  1. The fake punt was 100% Mike Mularkey. It's the opening drive of the game and you hand the ball to them right at your own 40? The was a stupid coaching decision. Nothing else. Just stupid. The negatives greatly out weighed the positives. So many of you defended DJ on the fourth down call against the Pats. You said it showed he beleived in his team. The fake punt told his team they had no chance and the team went on to play like it the rest of the game.
  2. And is Roscoe Parrish was patient last season he may have completed that pass. If you wan to go for it then just go for it and put your offense out on the field. You don't rely on YOUR PUNTER to run for a first down. If he could do that he wouldn't be a punter.
  3. Shouldn't they have started the post game at 1:45?
  4. Why? Each week I hear how smart this coaching staff is. Each week they do something stupid to prove everyone wrong.
  5. I only saw the one replay but I played it over and over. Why was Morman moving to his right so quickly? Was he planning on running?
  6. A) No. If Losman wants respect he has to get it done on third downs (beyond the marker) and at the end of games. I judge QB's when the games on the line. If you go by numbers Damon Huard went 18-23 for 208 and 2 TDS in only his 8th start. For those fixed on Losman's 12 starts. B) How many Conference Finals has Regier been to? 3? And one Cup Final? Plus his team is a favorite to go further this year. I think you can say he has had more then one good year. The Sabres have talent up and down the roster. So much so, they have players in the ROC that could make many other teams in the NHL.
  7. You forgot to add "a whole lot of facts". Don't hate the monkey, hate the numbers
  8. Didn't the Packers lose 26-0? And 37 of those yards came after the score became 26 - 0?
  9. Manning is another Dan Marino. He'll win you games but not a Super Bowl. As far as Brady. He can go without a completion the rest of the season and still have 3 Super Bowl rings. I guess he never faced pressure in those games?
  10. Like Chuck D (from 'Public Enemy' not WGR) said, "Don't Believe the Hype". I don't care how good a player may be. I only care how good a player is. It's like Sabres GM Regier. You put up 63 wins and I'll show some respect. You need to do more than a vaudeville soft shoe in a press conference to get respect.
  11. This may be funny considering I am not a Losman fan. But the best way to beat a strong physical defense is by spreading them out. This may be a game where the No-Huddle for 60 minutes may serve the Bills well. Take the Bears out of their base defense and force them to play 60 in the nickle and dime. I also know Evans is an outside speed guy. But it's time to use him like Andre. Slot him up and let him use his moves and great hands. Force the Bears to change their coverage or cover him with a Safety or Nickle.
  12. Your not saying David Carr is the best QB in football?
  13. The Vikes gave the Bills two gifts on Sunday. A stop on third and short. Then a breakdown on a busted play. I don't see the Bears being in that giving of a mood on Sunday. The Bears are physical. It's not a good fit for a smallish Bills defensive line and a QB who doesn't thrive under pressure.
  14. You didn't get the point of the post.
  15. And if JP throws a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 13 his rating goes up. If he completes a pass for -4 yards on 3rd and 10 his rating goes up. That was way too easy
  16. You know Ink. You are a wise man. I guess I still see this team a team that just missed the playoffs two years ago. Unlike everyone else who seems to think the Bills are coming off five straight 2-14 seasons. I guess I should just be happy that the Vikes laid down for the Bills. They gave the Bills one TD by jumping offsides and another by stopping before a busted play was over. The Bills are 2 and 2. The beat a solid Miami team with a powerful offense and they beats Vikes who showed no ill effects from the physical pounding the Bears laid on them. And they held there own against the Pats and Jets which never happens. I'm sure the Bills third down problems will have nothing to do with the outcome of the Bears game. The Bears defense is horrible on third downs. Teams are completing almost 22% on them.
  17. You mean like a Logo
  18. That right there proves how low the standards for Bills fans have fallen. Are you all that desperate that you are willing to cling to anything? You guys are so willing to hang on to anything that you will ignore that Losman had one completion on third that resulted in a first down. He had another that went for -4 yards and another that went three yards when he needed 13 and he took two sacks. That's a solid game? Why? Because he didn't fumble the game away like he did against the Jets? MM did more then call a bad game. He has destroyed the football sense of Bills fans. The bar has been so distorted that what was once average now becomes solid. A win that would once be cosidered just getting by is now a great win and a huge step forward. A game with 15 penalties is now a great coaching job. I hope this Mularkey hangover wears off soon
  19. And I qoute "Today he hit a bunch of 3rd and 5+ though. I was definitely impressed with those." Which third and 5+ were you impressed by? 10 passing 1st downs? The Dolphins had 12. Texans 13. Lions 16. I can go on. And throwing 3 yard completions on 3 and 13 will pad a lot of stats like completion percentage and QB rating. Of the 11 AFC teams that have played the full four games. The Bills are 10th in passing. The Bills are only better then Raiders in the AFC on third downs. Third downs? Losman was 3 for 8, 8 yards and 2 sacks? Yep. The Kids a gamer. But you are right about one thing. It is an improvement. With the standard set so low last season almost anything would be I guess
  20. All the 'lets' play make believe' aside. How about addressing the issues? What's the difference between a Shelton pass and a fake field goal in the first quarter with the lead?
  21. They were 5 for 14? And one was the McGahee TD? And one was a three yard pass to Reed on 3rd and 13? That leaves three? So, when did he "hit a bunch" of anything. Losman hit one third down pass for a first down. That was the 23 yarder. He took as many sacks as he had completions on third dow. The other two were a QB sneak and a McGahee run. So what were you impressed with again? I can't wait to find out.
  22. MM won games to. He was one win away from the playoffs. What does that matter. It's a watered down league. The difference between the worst team and the best team isn't that great anymore. As bad as the Raiders are, they have some damn good players on the roster. The Bills over the past five years have had some pretty good players on it. Over the first four games of this season they are hurt by the same old mistakes that cost those teams. Coaching, penalties, third downs and clock management. Until this team takes a step away from that same old pattern. There's nothing to be happy about.
  23. Do you have anything to defend the coaching with?
  24. Are you kidding me? "this well"? Where is this great improvement? It wasn't there when Whitner was late rotating to Robinson, who dropped the ball thank god. It wasn't there when the Bills ran that stupid bootleg play again. And it wasn't there when Losman threw a 30 yard pass to stop the clock and kept about a minute on the game clock. And for Kelly. I do like wins. But my standards haven't dropped so low that I need to strike up the band when the Vikes do as much to help the Bills win then the Bills did. 15 penalties? Come on. I thought this coaching staff was going to coach "smart football". And what was with that stupid "pooch" attempt? You score so you think it's a good idea to put them in good field position?
  25. 5 for 14 on third downs? 15 penalties for 104 yards? Yep. That's some amazing coaching. Considering how bad the Vikes reacted to their Bears hangover the game was a lot closer then it should have been. Trick plays that blow up. Unable to run out the clock. Dump penalties and unable to get it done on third down. These are all the same complaints people had about the last coaching staff.
