Seeing that teams can do it in one week, ie. Seahawks and Senca Wallace, it doesn't take long at all. JP is a scambling QB with a strong arm. The fact that the offense is designed for a strick stay in the pocket passer tells all. They don't use many if any designed rollouts or QB draws. The offensive coaching staff is new. They brought in a new system. So you would think at that point they would tailor the offense around the their QB. That they didn't and still refuse to during the season, doesn't show a lot of faith in JP's ability.

This week's "WTF?" point spread
DeLuca1967 replied to smokinandjokin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the same reasons I stuck with the team during the 70's, 80's and late 90's till now. I know the cycle of crap football will end at some point. I bet you didn't even know that Buffalo had a team in the 70's and 80's? -
This week's "WTF?" point spread

Maybe they expect the Colts to look past the Bills to the Cowboys? I think 12 should be the over and under on how many turnovers the Bills have. -
To be honest. I thought this what the Bills were planning to do going into the season. I agree with the guys on WGR. The fact that this team isn't tailoring the offense around the QB tells me that they have no plans on keeping him.
-
Unless you are Stephen Hawkins? I think this applies to all of us.

Titans? Super Bowl quality defense that held the Might Rams in check for most of the game. Packers? Worst pass defense in the NFL. Face it. If the Bills had been playing that Titans defense on Sunday? Loseman would have had 0 completions for negative yards. The only thing Loseman leads the league in? Excuses.
-
If Plummer was cheap? I'd take him for two seasons while next years #1 pick gets ready.
-
Numbers don't lie. 98 yds passing? Win 222 yds passing? Win 102 yds passing? Win It seems the less you rely on Loseman to make a play the better the Bills chances of victory. At some point the Bills may win a game 40-0 with Loseman not completing a pass
-
And if the Titans didn't complete 'Home Run Throw Back' Rob Johnson would be a Bills playoff legend. I can go with this all day and rewrite history. If you want to show your math skills. What is Losman's third down conversion percentage? How many times on third down does he complete a pass that results in first downs. Against the Packers Losman dropped back to pass eight times on third down. Converted once and took 2 sacks. I went to public school so my math may be off. But I think that's .125 coversion rate on third down. If it makes you feel better we can pretend all the incompletions and sacks were someone elses fault and we can add them to Losman's stats if it helps:w00t:

Losman has never had a "great game". I am going to guess that by "great" you mean any game where he isn;t the worst player on the field?
-
LMAO! Please. 7 of 14 for 59 yrds on passes other then the one to Evans on a play any college QB could have made. Where was this good start when Evans was wide open and Loseman stared down Robert Royal and almost had it picked off? A horrible throw is still a horrible throw even if the DB drops a sure Int. 2-11 on third downs and five sacks are all the stats you need to judge Loseman. Loseman did nothing in this game that Nall or Holcomb couldn't have done or even done better,

JP Losman I have been a supporter

Loseman was the only reason this game was close. If this team had anything at QB it would had been a blowout. -
If you must know. I have been practicing my shuffle board skills. I am hoping to become Ralph's new partner. It seems to be the quickest way to the Bills GM job.

It's the "mindless penalties " which causes my non-belief in this staff. I understand that there is not a lot of talent on this team. With all the money spent in free agency last summer and the very good draft position you would think the Bills should have had an upgrade in talent. It just doesn't seem to be the case. No one in there right mind thought the Bills were more then a 5-6 win team. I didn't expect this coaching staff to turn chicken zhit into chicken salad. I am however very discouraged by the lack of discipline of this football team. You don't have to be a talented football player to be a smart football player. This Bills team has limitations. I didn't expect to beat many other teams but I didn't expect them to beat themselves. The QB play and lack of discipline is even disappointing for those of us who had low to no expectations of this 2006 Bills team. That to me is an indictment of this coaching staff. They were billed as being "smarter" then the previous coaching staffs. I haven't seen it. I didn't expect more then 2-3 wins this year. I was hoping for some smart close to the vest football. Losing games but not beating themselves.

This team has enough losers on it. Can he play QB? Can he play O-line? I'm sick of this franchise loading up with other teams garbage. And you should be to

For your information Marv did a wonderful job adding talent to this offensive line. It's just 1989 all over again. Folwers is a better center than Hull could ever dream of. How dare you doubt Marv! He signed Price and Royal and the passing game has never been better. Even during the K-Gun. The preceding message was brought to you by the 'Friends of JP Losman'. Remember don't vote for change this Tuesday. Vote JP Losman.

Why throw an entire season away because of one!

That's not even the point. What you are saying, like others, is the "Because you can't fix all the problems. Don't fix any" is insane. Losman may not be the only reason this team is losing. But he is a big one. You have to start at some point fixing this team. QB is as good a place to start as any. -

Doesn't that right there say it all. Even the Losman defenders say he sucks. It's as simple as comparing the facts we know and what we don't know. We Know Losman is not the answer. He will not be here next year. We Know Holcomb is no long term answer. He is the smarter of the three QB's but doesn't have the arm strength. We Don't Know anything about Nall. Why not find out. He can't be any worse than Losman. So what are the Bills losing out on. At least going into the offseason (which has really already started) you have a complete book on al the rostered QB's. Maybe Nall could be good enough to hold the reigns while which ever QB the Bills pick in the first round. The Bills don't lose anything by trying a different QB. Losman is not the answer. We know that. So let's move on and quit wasting anymore time. You have not done that and most people simply do not advocate that the Bills do something irrational at QB. -

Besides being named "Buffalo" what is there to like about this team? The talent level hasn't been this low since Greg Bell was the Bills #1 back. What am I supposed to love about this team? They have no quality lineman on either side of the ball. The QB? Losman could not start for any other NFL team. They have one decent wideout. I good running back with very little big play ability. Their corners have fell off the face of the earth. Their GM is 80+ year old rookie GM who thought Tuten Reyes was the answer. And their coach has had one winning season and when this season is over his winning percentage will be under .400. What I am supposed to feel warn and fuzzy about. Maybe the a-hole pu$$y fans who held down a women having a baby while they jumped her husband. The franchise has become a joke and an embarassment to WNY and real WNY sports fans on and off the field. -
I Fear That Right Around The Corner
DeLuca1967 replied to Buffalo Baumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hell! Why not give him the next 5 seasons? Since there is no chance of drafting or signing a quality QB in that time? There is virtually nobody who is stating that JP will develop into a good starting QB. Come on! That says it all. "he's not going to be good so let's give him a chance anyway". WTF is that. -
O-line shuffle won't help as much as playcalling
DeLuca1967 replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can "ignore" me but not the facts. No number of posters on your "ignore" list will make Losman a NFL QB. "ignore" = can't argue against because they have too many facts on their side -

I like the effort. But you have to know that "reality" has nothing to do with the Losman debate. If any of the Losman "fans" dealt in reality they would be screaming for another QB. All Losman supporters are only just that because they won't admit that this team is as from turning things around as the Lions and Cardinals. They hold on to Losman because they want to hold on to the belief that they can compete with the Pats and the Colts. They still see the Bills as playoff contenders. Look as most of the early posts that predict 8- 9 - 10 wins. For them being a fan means living outside of "reality". The "reality" is that if Losamn was on the Jets they would be laughing at the Jets. You would be hearing how much Losman reminds them of Ray Lucas. The last thing Losman supporters want to hear is "reality" or facts. Their only response is to tell you how good a QB Drew Brees is. The qoute Brees stats not Losman's. -

You can have the most fine tuned, perfectly made gun in the world. If the guy pulling the trigger can't get the job done? Then you might as well have a Walmart special.
