  1. 10 steps owens isnt known for his speed if mcnaab is lousy then you must only look at latest impressions, herniated impressions at that mcnaab takes his team year after year to the championship game scrambling his ass off with James Thrash as a number one receiver, then gets Owens and the two are close to shattering qb/wr records within a couple years
  2. it does seem to be too little, the best thing to do is not grant him a trade and make him play for the bills or sit out the season, that way Marv doesnt look like a push over
  3. point well taken that roughage is good and the philly wr's were rough in the championship seasons before owens, but still nfc champs a true indicator that even a lousy receiver can get to the championship in philadelphia in the Reid offense, and EM's is better than any of those guys before Owens
  4. wow 2005 only 7 games but on pace for his best season ever, a true indicator of what the reid offense and even a wounded mcnaab will do for a receiver
  5. he went to philadelphia
  6. Reids offense typically passes more than any other in the leauge Mcnaab can rejuvenate a sticky hands receiver in that type of offense, as T.O. was falling in the ranks of the wr's suddenly produced eye popping statistics.
  7. he could do that anywhere, maybe he has to for free cable though
  8. who takes a pac 10 defensive tackle that high in a draft, can you actually name any that panned out...i can but got to get in the way back machine ngata is going to be dissapointed on draft day, maybe we'll snag him in round 2
  9. seems that bailing out of the bills uniform is en vouge
  10. what was he doing at your house?
  11. he wont get quite t.o. numbers of last season, but he'll be a top 5 fantasy wideout
  12. and probably a superbowl appearance
  13. Funny stuff. I never said he was in Marino's class as far as quarterbacks are concerned. You are basing the notion that Dolphins are better than the Bills on past accomplishments, exactly how i'm basing Culpepper will be an upgrade at qb. I think you just like to argue and you're defintely not worth using the shift key.
  14. You're using the terms "savior" and "answer", I haven't. It is my opinion that the Dolphins have upgraded at the quarterback position, and that they haven't had a better qb since Don Shula was running the team.
  15. playing from behind, offensive line, and defense have a lot to do with it....... are going to say that brad johnson substituting for culpepper alone made those differences?
  16. what does 31 sacks tell ya? this has got to be the saddest sack bunch of nfl fans in one thread i've ever seen, dont you guys still have phones and am radios
  17. johnson had been steady his entire carreer......he steps in with birk getting healthy the addition of fabini and they get a win at new york with one offensive score the entire game.......after wholesale changes at defense in the offseason....then things go from there u gotta take care of that disease it's seeping into your brain..........youre not the only one though as people have been giving the quarterback too much credit or blame for years
  18. now i see where i was called a dolphins fan, this seems so sarcastic i almost thought you were culpepper has a blip down year and everyone wants to back fit the reason into he just wasnt any good in the first place......
  19. whatever, if moss and carter made it work for one of the best offenses in the nfl during that time who is to say it wont in miami where they have a notch or two lower receivers but are a ton better at tight end and running back the dolphins have the skill people it all starts up front and the vikings lost their center piece last season, then made the trade with san diego, the line didnt gel till after culpepper was done hell koren robinson never stepped onto the field till late season i'll give you this, Moss could make another receiver into a producer, ala nate burelson, and he can extend the carrer of a receiver, ala carter but he cant make a very good quarterback excellent and then turn him to sh-- by leaving him you make no sense.......the two top wideouts on the team were buried in the depth chart at last seasons start
  20. we'll soon find out, they'll probably get someone that'll easily be better at kicking off, the colts are going to need a kick off specialist or their brilliant new kicker will cost their special teams in terms of field position i will say that the dome probably will extend vinateris worth as far as field goals are concerned
  21. i'd say it is extrememly warranted but have already been called a phin fan so i wont
  22. i'll trust bellichick here, he just knows when hold em and when to fold em......how long could mr clutch actually keep it up, there is a new best kicker in the nfl and the cardinals own him
