Who represents the Bills at the Draft

What if Belichick installed an assistant deep within our organization and then on draft day Bill would activate the "Manchurian Candidate" and he would bring up a card that said Mario Manningham on it. I hope this doesnt happen. -
Who represents the Bills at the Draft

Since the braintrust will be at OBD who do the Bills send to NY. Also why are all the teams decision makers required to attend in person? Woulnt it be great TV to see the wheeling and dealing live? -
Who will be there? How big is the room? What do they eat? Is there a red phone on the table that rings when someone wants to trade? How bad do you think it smells at the end of the day? Is the bathroom adjacent to the war room or down the hall? Are the watching the draft on ESPN or do they have a different feed? Does anybody know anything???

I remember last year Berman said something along the lines of "Lets see if the Bills decide between the RB or the CB". I really wish we would have picked Revis................................NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember last year at draft time our starting HB was A-Train but alot of the pre-draft discussion was about guys like willis, leon hall, revis, and okoye. Looking back I was crazy to think that we would have gone with anybody but Lynch. Did I really belive that A-Train was going to split carries with Michael Bush or Ariizonas Chris Henry? Thats why I feel that WR is going to be the pick. It's too obvious and the more articles i read about the Bills loving DRC or Harvey reinforces this. These are probably leaks designed to make other teasm think that we really want to pick at 11 while we secretly want to get to pick 12-25. I just have the feeling that at 6pm saturday i'm going to say "How the hell did i think that they were going anywhere but WR with that pick???" Now I need to go create a post saying the exact opposite so I can bump one or the other sunday!

I remember alot of mock drafts had us taking the CB Revis and Lynch but was there anyone else? I also seem to remember Meachem and the LB from Florida State as well.

Does Tom Donohoe still live in WNY?

I knew that was him! -
I'm 90% sure I saw him at Tim Horton's on Main Street across the street from UB. Was this TD or just a doppelganger?

How about these letters to the editor after the Bills 2006 draft! hahahaha Letters / Our readers speak out SECTION: SPORTS; Pg. D4 LENGTH: 350 words What was Marv thinking on draft day? I've watched (from a distance) for several months the moves Bills General Manager Marv Levy and his crew have made each time, thinking he can't top the last one. I didn't think anything could best $10 million for Peerless Price. Boy, was I wrong. Donte Whitner with the first pick beats them all. Not only does Marvelous pass up Matt Leinart (Oh, that's right, we don't need him after his brilliant QB signing of Craig Nall), he does so for the third-rated safety in the draft. What are these guys thinking? They are driving the Bills' bus off a cliff and we're along for the ride. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing for Ralph to sell the team so we can get some fresh blood in there to turn this franchise around. Jim Benz Philadelphia *** Draft day decisions may backfire on Bills Does this NFL draft smell of the Donahoe-Modrak era to you? Marv Levy is a very likable fellow but an experienced general manager he isn't. Fire Levy, Modrak, and the scouts for the pathetic 2006 draft. I would bet the farm that the Bills lose 5,000 or 10,000 season ticket holders because of this draft farce. Phil Wiggle Amherst

BYLINE: By Alan Pergament SECTION: SPORTS; Sports on the Air ; Pg. B4 LENGTH: 705 words Who would have thought that NFL Network draft expert Mike Mayock would have had more insight into the Bills' top choice than ESPN's Chris Berman? Mayock probably shocked Bills fans last Saturday before General Manager Marv Levy did by correctly predicting the Bills would take Donte Whitner if they couldn't trade down. Mayock had six of the first eight picks right in his mock draft and would have had all eight if Houston had selected Reggie Bush instead of Mario Williams. Mayock flip-flopped the picks. Mayock's prediction might have been missed by Bills fans who rely on Berman to get the choice from "a Buffalo cab driver." This time, Berman speculated the cabbie was stuck in traffic and he didn't make a prediction. I'm told the cabbie might have called too late. Still, Mayock did so well that a conspiracy theorist might wonder if NFL personnel was more willing to talk to the NFL Network analysts than ESPN's. The competition didn't hurt ESPN's ratings. Its draft coverage was the highest-rated and most-viewed in 27 years.

Larry Felser (I think it was him). The week before the draft he had a Bills draft column where he snuck in towards the end "Don't be surprised if the Bills pick Donte Whitner from Ohio State". That was the only Whitner reference I remember hearing during the build-up towards the draft. Today's Felser column seems to imply that taking a corner in the first in the most likely scenario. Do you think he may be privy to whose at the top of our draft board this year?
