  1. Off the field I don't think he's a bad guy, he's just a very stupid and shortsighted guy. On the field I've never had a problem with him, I'd consider him a "high football character" guy.
  2. How come then in his statement he clearly states that he wasn't speeding? He also fails to address why he didn't come to the door when the police were pounding on his door the next morning.
  3. Lynch & Co refused to speak with the DA/BPD for weeks, how could they offer a deal?
  4. And how exactly has Lynch earned the benefit of the doubt? Why are you guys so trusting of him? Do you guys think he's going to read this board and see how you blindly defend him and send you a signed football? He's not some flawless person who could never drive drunk. Here's the facts- 1)Lynch is know to drink on Chippewa 2)Lynch spent the night on Chippewa (and strip clubs) 3)Lynch left at 330am (If you get pulled over downtown at that time what do you think the cops first question is) 4)Lynch was involved in an extremely avoidable accident 5)Lynch (and Steve Johnson) didn't feel a collision strong enough to damage a SUV 6)Lynch didn't say he wasn't drinking in today's statement If this was anyone besides Marshawn Lynch you would assume he was drinking that night. "But Elegant, he only had 8 drinks over 7 hours..................blah blah blah"
  5. Are you kidding? The severity of the sentence is only because she wasn't injured badly. This was going to be a plea bargain since day one, Clark never wanted to tango with Lynch's lawyers.
  6. He didn't, he just said their were witnesses (unnamed of course) who saw differently. The witness who said he stopped went ON THE RECORD!
  7. This is probably the most reasonable description I've heard of the accident.
  8. Thats probably the worst strawman any Lynch apologist has put out there yet. Can you get this through your thick skull- LYNCH LEFT A BAR! THAT'S AN ESTABLISHMENT WITH NO OTHER PURPOSE THAN TO SERVE DRINKS!!!! HE DIDN'T LEAVE A MUTANT GREEN FLAMINGO RESERVE!
  9. Just like you said the victim was lying because she said Lynch stopped too right? Funny you have yet to mention the witness from the video who corrobarated her version of events. But I guess he's a liar too right. If you want to ignore reality and live in a better world where NFL players aren't getting drunk at bars and then driving home at 3:30am then more power to you I guess. I'm sorry if I'm not that naive.
  10. Are you for real? You're still not understanding my question. Let's assume he wasn't drinking, if this were the case why wouldn't he say so in the statement? It would actually cost him less money in the civil suit. His statement left the ambiguity that he may have been drinking.
  11. How exactly would Lynch saying that he wasn't drinking that night (assuming he was being truthfull) cost him more money in the civil suit?
  12. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way.
  13. So you agree with me that he was probably drinking?
  14. This case will absolutely NEVER make it to trial, I'll bet a TRILLION dollars.
  15. Did you know that Timothy McVeigh was convicted and executed on circumstantial evidence?
  16. There isn't rampant speculation that he was doing any of those things and he was leaving a DRINKING establishment.
  17. Thank you, I just get frustrated when people act like it's crazy to suggest he was drinking.
  18. This silence is deafening! So can we all agree then that he was drinking?
  19. I think the Titans will take a dive next year, maybe 7-9, 6-10.
  20. Another brilliant response. Big surprise, noone can offer a reasonable explanation why he didn't say he wasn't drinking in his statement.
  21. Another non-response response. Let me ask this again, If Marshawn wasn't drinking why didn't he come out and say so in his statement? How could that negatively affect his civil case? Why wouldn't he want to end the speculation that he was drunk?
  22. You mean a "100$ traffic crime" that the even the judge said displayed a "reckless disregard for human life and property"? Who's really the naive one- the person who has the nerve to believe someone driving home from Chippewa at 330am was drunk or someone who takes the words of the accused and his LAWYER at face value? I'm sorry for being cynical about his story and refusing to drink the Marshawn Lynch Kool-Aid.
  23. Why would he be uncomfortable if his statement was the truth? Shouldn't he be relieved to have the oppurtunity to get this off his chest? Why didn't he use this oppurtunity to refute the speculation that he wasn't drinking. He could have said "I drove home at 3:30am, I had not been drinking at all...", how would that effect the civil suit? Why would Marshawn and his lawyer leave the ambiguity of Lynch possibly being drunk hanging out there?
  24. By the way, Administrative Law Judge Thomas Gagola found Lynch’s behavior on May 31 “constituted a reckless disregard of human life or property”. I love how all the responses are only "just stop". Why isn't anyone coming out and saying that was a great heartfelt, sincere statement? My guess is that most of you were as unconvinced by his statement as I am.
  25. Lynch has been in front of reporters and microphones his entire adult life. Why would he be nervous, He knows that he is out of legal jeopardy. Why is is such a stretch to think that he may be less than truthful in saying that he didn't realize he hit her? Bill Clinton lied, George Bush lied, why can't Marshawn Lynch lie? Poeple who are trying to save their ass sometimes lie.
