I agree......he seemed normal to me.....apart from the whole marbles mouth as Buftex noted earlier.....which is more the product of his generation rather than any attitude or lack of intelligence.

Nice first post....welcome. I think similarly. He has an opportunity to show that he is worth the money that he wants. He needs to take that opportunity and run with it IMO.

Every time I have a look over at PPP it seems to be dominated by a bunch of like minded people who are happy to ridicule and abuse anyone voicing a different opinion to the norm there.....with a couple of masochistic regulars who voice opposition. It's not a hen house that would in any way encourage me to come lay an egg there.

You sound a bit worked up there TYTTasker. Reporting someone is as simple as clicking the report button......and then clicking send(you can type comments if you wish). You don't have to wade through even one ton of bull*** in order to report posts.

Because any big contract is going to be big every single year of the contract. That means that in 3 years time when we have to give EJ a $25mil/year deal to pay him what he's worth, there will be a chunk less money because we chose a few years earlier to overpay lesser talented players at lesser important positions.

Can we please stop the ugly comments in regards to his wife? She seems like a normal looking woman to me......and truth be told it is kind of admirable for him to be with the one he loves rather than throwing her away to have some hot vacuous football bimbo.

Not exciting......but to me(& I'm sure many others) it conjures up the concept of justice. Through his career he has shown a blatant disregard for the health of his opponents....displayed by the colloquial "cheap shot". From memory, he has also vocalized a lack of concern for players he has injured(though this might be my memory playing tricks on me). Having never really been held accountable for his actions in the past, it is not IMO unjustified to feel some sort of satisfaction that he has now received his just desserts.

I'm pretty sure he couldn't step into that pass due to having a defender in his face, and that is why it got under thrown.

I believe that those sort of respectful additions often do go a long way to keep conversations civil.....and is very good advice to be giving in regards to what should be standard forum etiquette. I try and throw in an "IMO" or an "I believe" where appropriate as well. An example would be.... "EJ is going to be a great QB." or "I believe EJ is going to be a great QB." These two statement types are seemingly the same but IMO will usually elicit very different reactions from other posters.

This feels very much like deja vu as it was only 2 weeks ago that the same things were being said about McKelvin. It's a bit great that two of our mediocre secondary have become stud-like.

I'd say "might" get better with time.....but you are right IMO. The point being that calling to cut 2nd year players with potential because they have yet to show that they are solid is unwise and premature.
